I love this way of starting our mornings. We check in with each other, updating ourselves on what is happening in the news and how our physical/emotional/mental bodies are doing too. Some of us go “deep in the heart of Texas” with the Migas eggs — peppers, corn tortillas, jalapeno’s and eggs — yum! Then les Girls go off to Sherri and Kevin Robinson’s home for Services, Paul and Roger will set up later for the book event, and John and Leigh are off to Travelerdom.

Kevin Robinson is our host today and personifies Texas warmth and charm and clarity as he guides us to our rooms and welcomes those coming in for Services. How great to see Cleora Daily and Robert Ervin who are in town for Andrew Robinson’s high school graduation festivities. It’s a treat to see Cleora in her family environment. Amazing to see Andrew and his brother Skyler in their beauty and wisdom chatting with us as equals.

Our Services days whisks by with a scrumptious lunch by chef Tim Teague, giving us a delightful respite. Then we’re off to Borders Books and Cafe at The Domain for a good old-fashioned Bookstore event with John Morton and the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/You-Are-Blessings-Meditations-Reflections/dp/1893020460/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1206488603&sr=1-1
“> You Are the Blessings book. We again dazzle Borders with our enthusiastic group of supporters coming from as far away as Dallas to participate. During the evening John invites the group to read from the book and share how the book speaks to them. The hush of Spirit seems to descend upon us as the energy of the group comes into this beautiful oneness. As I look around, I see other bookstore visitors and store employees stopping to listen and reflect on the wisdom coming forth. Carol Beau has provided a wonderful liaisoning with Brian at Borders, so we had the most solid foundation set for this event from the beginning. Brian lets us know that John and his books are welcomed back to this Borders anytime AND that this has been the best event yet at this store. It is a sell out! Glowing praise!

Happy campers we are and we celebrate with a late night dinner at the hotel before turning in for a few more emails and some rest.

DAY 9 — AUSTIN

Good morning! Our team assembles again for another touch-in breakfast. Lots of fun talking about the political scene this morning, and then we again head off to Services and the guys go to set up for the closed MSIA Seminar tonight. For a special treat, our chef Tim Teague has whipped up a Tex-Mex lunch with grilled steak, chicken, guacamole and salsa with no onion or garlic — YEAY!! — and a “to live-for” corn/pepper mix. Cleora is on hand to mix her special sparkly drinks and lunch is served al fresco on the back porch which is my favorite spot. There is a strong breeze and it is like devic heaven with big huge old trees, a gentle bubbling swimming pool and plants. And who comes to join us for lunch but John and Leigh. We are a rollicking group with Ina Carbajal and Candy Spitzer, both balancers-in-training, in attendance. Candy, also being the MSIA Rep, with her co-MSIA Rep, Carol Beau, seem to be everywhere making sure whatever we need is handled. Sherri Robinson did her most graceful job, with the assistance of Kevin, of making sure the Services schedule would go smoothly and gratefully. Now it’s on to finish Services, and then we go to the seminar location.

Roger and Paul with assistance of Mark Blackburn, Carol Beau and Rhonda Teague, have created a sacred space. There is excitement in the air as the ministers have gathered for us to do some ordinations. Once the Traveler joins us, the evening is underway. This is a closed MSIA Seminar and this means that all people attending have some foundation in the teachings of MSIA. The Seminar program begins with Candy welcoming the group and introducing the Tri-Fecta of Austin/Dallas MSIA Reps — Candy Spitzer, Carol Beau and Carol Barger — a Carol Sandwich she called it. So great to see them working together to bring all the communities into a “community”. Robert McCreight shares a creative story complete with puppet on sacred “ordinariness”, and soon John is invited and welcomed up to be with us.

To invite Spirit even more to flood us, John invites Leigh to lead us in a meditation. Leigh invites us to come forward into the Divinity we all are and visualize the sweetness of the Spirit within and among us to expand out into the world. From that exquisite point we explore with John the foundation in Texas of MSIA with its volunteers, and onto the heights of loving through the questions and answers that come forward. So full an energy that it is hard for we staff to keep our eyes open! At the end of the Seminar John stays with us to sign more of the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/You-Are-Blessings-Meditations-Reflections/dp/1893020460/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1206488603&sr=1-1
“> You Are the Blessings books and Paul signs some of <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Rest-Your-Life-Finding-Beloved/dp/1893020436/ref=pd_bbs_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1212709710&sr=1-1
“> The Rest of Your Life books while we pack up all the equipment. With many staff hands and good volunteer assistance we are done in under an hour. Good thing as it’s all we can do to keep moving tonight.

Spirit guides us home quickly and each of us head to our rooms to do our best to pack, do email and sleep for tomorrow we head to Santa Fe. Thank you to each one who assisted us in our most sweet visit to Austin. We are very grateful for your love and embracing of us and your community. Please keep your Light with us as we continue on our travels.

DAY 10 — ON TO SANTA FE

Staff meets together for breakfast this morning. John and Leigh check in with us too. They stay behind in Austin today for a little more Traveler work with the Austin MSS class tonight. We staff will voyage on ahead to Santa Fe. Our Southwest Airlines flight is fun and quick. On our arrival in Albuquerque we are met by tall and big-hearted Dennis Kelly who greets us with bear hugs and big bottles of water. We are grateful for both; it is drrryyy up here in Albuquerque. We can feel the lovely humidity of Austin drying out of us by the second. Still the coolness and the wide open spaces as we drive on to Santa Fe are an enjoyable change. I love our travel days; it’s as though we are on a big field trip. A Whole Foods store is right on the way to our hotel so once again we make a foray through the store capturing little snacks that delight us individually. Our current favorite is coconut water. Tonight we dine leisurely al fresco, enjoying each other’s company before heading back to finish our evening with emails and some sleep.

DAY 11 – SANTA FE

We touch in with each other at breakfast, continuing our stimulating conversation. Les girls are off to Services at Karey Thorne’s and Robert Waterman’s pueblo style home; the guys are going to be setting up for the closed MSIA Q&A at the Unity Church this evening. On arriving at Karey and Robert’s home we are warmly hugged and settled into our Services schedule. Ina Cristina and Candy are ready to continue their Services training too. As our day passes quickly, Leigh and John are starting their travel towards Santa Fe. By the end of the Services we hear that John and Leigh’s plane is late, so we send them Light for a graceful and easy journey completion. Looks like they’ll be coming direct from the airport to the Q&A location.

When we arrive at the Unity Church there is a buzz of activity. <a href="http://www.amazon.com/You-Are-Blessings-Meditations-Reflections/dp/1893020460/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1206488603&sr=1-1
“> You Are the Blessings books are being sold, people are registering for the Seminar, the ministers are waiting for the ordination to begin. We hear from John that they are close. Soon we have the Traveler with us and he jumps right in, Traveler that he is, to signing books with an individual blessing for each person with Leigh by his side. Paul and Roger with the steady assistance of Cliff, Susan Shyne, Marsha Winborn and friends have prepared a beautiful space for us.

At 7:30pm Stede Barber, our lovely MC takes the stage welcoming all. It is a family atmosphere here. We are lifted by a beautiful rendition of “You Raised Me Up” by Rebecca Hyde-Skeele, Caitlyn on the viola and Marsha on the piano. As John steps up, he invites Leigh to share. Just as she steps up the church bells peel and tone the hour in a moment of perfect timing and divine surprise which delights Leigh and us. Then she leads us in a sweet invocation and meditation that invites us to partake of the joy, Light and Spirit that is here for us. John continues to lift and share with us. The energy is sweet and full by the evening’s end, and John hangs in there to sign a few more books before he and Leigh head off to finally get to their hotel. We have so much good assistance in packing up that we are done in 50 minutes getting us back to our hotel with energy still to do our email and luxuriate in the shower. Then our beds claim us willingly.

DAY 12 – SANTA FE

Breakfast today again with our own renditions of snappy and outrageous chatter. John and Leigh stop by to bid us “goodbye” as they’re flying back to LA today. Roger opts for sleeping-in this morning as Paul and Les girls head off for Services at the Waterman’s home. It’s a beautiful breezy day out there in the desert. Our day flies by and soon we’re hugging and thanking Karey and Robert for their warm and generous hospitality. With Candy and Ina in tow we opt for a dinner together at Ristra’s, a restaurant within walking distance of our hotel that is outstanding. The staff there are extremely attentive and caring about our no onion or garlic or pork requirements. This attention is so appreciated whenever we can get it. Our food and stories build in entertainment and deliciousness and we are more than satisfied by the end of the evening. The walk back is short cuz it’s on the cool side and we’re walking fast but it’s beautiful as we look at the stars. Back at the hotel we hug goodbyes to Ina and Candy as they’re driving to Albuquerque tonight…it’s been a treat having them with us! We head to our rooms for it’s a pack night with a few more emails to get under our belts before calling it a night. Tomorrow we head to Boulder. Thank you to each and every one who came together here in Santa Fe to make our visit so smooth and grace-filled. Keep the Light headed in our way as we drive onto Boulder tomorrow..And Light to our team of Light-Bearers in Madrid who will be traveling to Barcelona tomorrow for more Spiritual Warriors screening fun!

Click here to read Days 1 through 7 with Angel Gibson.

Click here to read Days 13 through 16 with Angel Gibson.

We start off today with our "Traveling team" breakfast with John and Leigh completing our "team".
