Here we were at the 2101 Building once again in Santa Monica. It was time for the world wide webcast with John Morton, DSS<\/a>, and Leigh Taylor-Young as host. The subject for the webcast was “Love and Be Loved.” This was the third in a series of webcasts based upon John Morton’s most recent book, \n“> You Are the Blessings: Meditations and Reflections on Life, God and Us<\/a>. The ballroom was filled with loving, gentle people, brought together by the loving, and by the teachings of the Mystical Traveler.<\/p>\n

Leigh called us all forward into the Light with an invocational prayer, reminding us to send our loving out to all who were tuned in via the Internet around the world. We later heard that there were seminar participants in 12 countries, including Guatemala, Viet Nam, and Australia, as well as 20 states in the USA. All were invited to participate with questions to be asked of John Morton, both in person and via the Internet.<\/p>\n

After introducing John Morton, Leigh reviewed a few passages from the book, and asked John to comment. Some in the audience asked questions, to which John responded with joyful loving. Questions included, “How can I hold to the Loving in the face of negativity?” and “How can I open more to the Beloved within me?”<\/p>\n

In his responses, John was in top form, directing us back to the unconditional and immeasurable loving of God, and to receiving that love into us, while simultaneously expressing that love. He encouraged us to commit to the loving process, to forgive ourselves (set ourselves free, as if it were Bastille Day), and to continue to choose loving, which is a sign of our progress.<\/p>\n

After Leigh made a few announcements — including the date for the next webcast which is Tuesday October 21st and the subject will be the book Timeless Wisdoms<\/a> by John-Roger, DSS<\/a> — John Morton offered a closing Blessing (he’s famous for this).<\/p>\n

Next, and a surprise to all, John handed out over-stocked VHS and cassette tapes of previous lectures and seminars at very reduced prices. A lot of fun energy was generated, a little like the surprises of Christmas morning. Refreshments were then served in the downstairs reception hall, and we left feeling blessed and rejuvenated.<\/p>\n
