\"ArticleWhen the New Day Herald asked me to write something about my experience and adventures with the Spiritual Warriors<\/a> movie, I was excited to share what has been one of the biggest blessings of my life. The opportunity to work with and travel around the world with John-Roger<\/a> is something that cannot be expressed in words — I am so grateful for this time with J-R, Zeus (Jsu) and co, and most days still find it hard to believe how blessed I am. And while the journey has been far from easy — it is one that has changed my life forever.<\/p>\n

It was at Conference in Australia in 2003 when I heard Spirit speak through John Morton<\/a> to come and work for the Travelers in LA. Those weren’t his words, but that was the message, and while there were maybe 200 people in the room the communication was so clear and so intimate that for me he could have been whispering into my ear as he sat next to me. At that time I couldn’t see how I would be able to get a visa etc., to work in the States, and this idea soon faded, but the seed was planted. I was already committed to work in Canada for one year and left two months after Conference, and the idea of transfering with my company from Toronto to their Global Head Office which was in LA appeared as an option — but again faded.<\/p>\n

Then truly what I believe is one of the biggest contributors to allowing this incredible blessing into my life — was a New Year’s Resolution I made while in Toronto in 2004. I so clearly remember making the decision to tithe 10%, regardless, no matter what, whatever it takes. I remember doing my budget and simply not having enough money to pay all my expenses, save what I wanted for my upcoming plans, and tithe on top of that — but it was so clear that I knew that I needed to prioritize tithing above everything else — and I think the challenge I overcame to do this contributed to the blessings that followed. Within a month my income doubled (clients were handed to me on silver platters and deals were closing with a grace I had not experienced before).<\/p>\n

I had wanted to travel after my 12-month contract, and so used this unforeseen abundance to backpack alone across Canada and then across the US for 4 months, with my final destination being LA in time for Conference, then all 3 PATs at Lake Arrowhead. If you’ve done the PATs, particularly all 3 at one time, you’ll know that the person and life you leave the training with is a very different person and life that began the training. I think that traveling on my own for four months also set me up for this change in consciousness — it was an intense and miraculous self-discovery — so many challenges, and so many breathtaking moments, meetings and experiences. My previous motivations of money, career, success, and status (which were let’s say a little more than out of balance and dominated my perception of the world and of happiness) were replaced with a new sense and motivation to live my life serving the Spirit in whatever way Spirit presented that to me — regardless of money, recognition, or materiality.<\/p>\n

I headed back down the mountain to talk with Paul Kaye — telling him I wanted to live and work at Prana. I had already committed to a contract to work the next year in Japan — so Paul encouraged me to go to Japan and to talk again when I was complete with that. I did, and returned to LA after that year with my intention to work on staff stronger and clearer than when I had left. This isn’t to say I wasn’t scared, doubtful and challenged daily, but I was also aware of a communication inside that told me this was where I needed to be. I’m so glad that I was able to focus into that clarity and not be carried away with my fear and doubt.<\/p>\n

After volunteering for three months with Helen Bradley and her team at Prana, the Spirit working through those angels sometimes called the Presidency, gave me a job, a visa, the legal support and financial assistance to get my visa, and the love and welcome that I needed to move my life to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
