Santa Barbara, peacemakers came together for “A Day of Peace” on Sunday, September 19th. We started with a Peacemaker Meeting for the adults in the morning. The kids went off with IIWP Volunteer Karen Williams for fun activities near the garden. This was followed by lunch, horse-painting and schmoozing with Windermere Staff Lynn Cox and Ivy Wright, and some Docent-led tours — including a walk to visit with Windermere’s goats!

In the mid afternoon, Andrew Baillie hosted a Garden Blessing to bring forward the peace present in Windermere’s growing garden area. IIWP Volunteers Dave Wright and Alicia Landa led us in a Peace Walk to plant Light columns throughout our Beloved Ranch, and Windermere Staff George Pace offered a MSIA Seminar with a focus on peace in the Garden House.

HERE ARE SOME COMMENTS FROM PEACEMAKERS IN OTHER COMMUNITIES…..

Momentum: Letting Love Lead Retreat
From Tomas Johannson, SWEDEN:
We just had a beautiful weekend here in Sweden with the momentum workshop and the intension set on peace over the three days together. Peace prayer, being aware of any againstness and of course letting love lead us through processes over the weekend.
We all felt very blessed to once again tap in to our true selves and expand and being aware of spirit working with us all.

Sunrise Peace Chant
From Anne Naylor, FRANCE:
We were 10 for the chant which was lovely. As the numbers for chanting have been low recently, I wondered about the interest for it. Then there were 4 people from a local coffee morning who were enthusiastic to come. And others came forward. I was quite surprised! One of those occasions when I do not know what Spirit has in mind….

We all faced the rising sun, which came through carmine red and then bright gold. It was very peaceful. Only the sounds of the sea on the beach when the chant ended.

For a video from the Peace Chant, just click here

IIWP’s Peacemaker Meeting
From Lin Mogitz, NEW JERSEY:
The attendees at last Sunday’s Peacemaker Meeting were Lisa Arencibia, Victor Arencibia, and myself. It was, as usual, an absolutely beautiful and wonderful meeting! The energy of these meetings is always spectacular. 🙂

IIWP’s “Finding Peace in Today’s World” Workshop
From Tracy Uttley, MINNESOTA:
Peace was definitely present as several new people were introduced to the teachings of the Traveler. There was much laughter and fun as we explored many different aspects of peace.

We had ten people, four of whom had never taken a MSIA or PTS class before. The night was magical as everyone seemed to tap into peace on a much deeper level. One of the new participants is going to become a discourse subscriber and take our Levels of Consciousness-Vehicles of the Soul class. We plan to make this Peace class an annual event.

MSIA Seminar with Peace Focus
Sina Skates, ALABAMA
We held the event outside in our backyard, it was my husband, myself, our 3 young children 4.5, 3.5, and 1.5, and another local minister in the area who comes to all of our seminars. We read excerpts from Loving Each Day for Peacemakers and responded to the questions… and then we listened to an audio seminar from Turning Points to Personal Liberation tape packet. Then we closed with another John-Roger quote from the Loving Each Day for Peacemakers book, and then all ate lunch together. It was so sweet and so nice – the weather was beautiful and the children played in the yard while we sat around the tape player relaxing in nature!

Thanks again, and we hope to host another event in the future!

Peacemakers-In-Action Team
From Robert McCreight, TEXAS:
We held a gathering of Peacemakers yesterday at Austin Java City Hall.
Twelve of us (plus Mark and Hesperia’s little girls, Evangeline and Lili) gathered for breakfast, conversation, and the planting of a Light column at the heart of Austin. We then went on about our days, planting columns of Light wherever we were called to go and bringing forward blessings of kindness to those we met along the way.

It was a delightful morning we shared and we left the gathering filled
with GLEE!
God bless you!

Peace Renewal Project
From Leigh Hamel, CONNECTICUT:
On Thursday, September 23 a small group of CT lightbearers kicked off the continuation of our Light column project, targeting teachings institutions and local schools. First on our list was the University of Connecticut Health Center. The University of Connecticut Health Center is a world class biomedical research center, inpatient and outpatient health care facility, medical school) – this is not only a hospital, but a major teaching facility with extensive research departments.

IIWP Peacemaker Meeting
From Mavi Lopez, MEXICO:
The peace meeting was beautiful.
The Travelers energy was very, very present and everybody was delighted.
12 people attended: Seven people from MSIA, the rest new people.
(Here in Mexico we had a weekend of vacations, so some people were still busy or out of town).
Nevertheless, the people that came were very happy and committed
Thanks for everything. Everything was perfect. We had refreshments, sandwiches, snacks and cookies after the meeting.
Everybody was happy.

Planting Light Columns
From Joy Hartley, NEW MEXICO
Susan Voorhees, Joy Hartley, Marsha Winborn, and Ruth Drayer planted Peace and Light Columns for the Highest Good throughout the DeVargas mall in Santa Fe as part of the International Day/Weekend of Peace.
