John’s coach somehow we’d earned

And I said, “I beg your pardon?” coz I thought I’d misheard.

Anyhow it was true, but first we all needed to sleep

And the old van doubled up as our own B&B

We found a good spot on the Marylebone Road

Quite near the lights I remember, and a large posh hotel.

As night came down I laughed aloud as my friend,

With a bob in her hair and coins in her hand,

Jumped off the van in her big fluffy slippers and

I smoked a fag as she fed the meter.

Actually, my friend was pregnant and didn’t like the smoke

So I blew it all out of an air flap on the roof

We didn’t know then but the police saw it all –

We were under surveillance all night by the Law!

All night I tossed and turned on the floor of that van

And by morning it was clear I hadn’t slept well

But something felt poignant when I heard later that day

We’d been parked the whole night outside J-R’s hotel!

(What with that and being on the police tv

I felt we’d been ‘looked after’ my friend and me).

So, I put on my clothes and I put on a face

And we all met up in the car park,

Hugged and embraced, and

What with one thing and another there we were on the coach

With J-R and John Morton sat up the front.

I was tired and squinting so I put on my shades

But I was happy to be in the flow of the day

And as I settled down and snuggled up a bit in my seat

I looked up and John Morton was headed for me.

He said, “We’ve not seen you before” and

Took hold of my hand, and

The carousel slowed and I was nearing dry land…

And to this very day I do not know why

But as I held hands with this stranger, this good looking guy,

Words came tumbling out from I do not know where.

I blurted out the reason I had changed my name

And information he hadn’t asked for I gave just the same!

Holding his hand, I was touched by that moment

And it’s still very clear,

It was a Blessed, stilled pause in my time

I don’t know what it was that he shared, but

My soul danced in the distance to show me it cared.

So, on the tour we visited the Tower of London & St Paul’s

And we dined on the river and I just loved it all.

In the room with J-R I was totally intrigued as

They massaged and cared for his physical form, and

From the River Thames landscape to the Mystery School,

The reconnection began with God directing us all.

Another door opened and the Traveller beckoned us on

And we jumped back in the van and sped across town

Without knowing how or what or when or why, we were

In a Q&A session with J-R and John, and I

Sat Blessed, receiving and healing as the moments went by.

With the desert behind me.

That weekend, let me tell you,

Angels must have gathered around me and sang.

I breathed in the harmony and

I breathed in the Light

I bathed in the peace of things just feeling right

I listened to a song the Travellers sang

Watched it cleanse, heal and transform wherever it ran

Did I know then that I had found a way home?

Maybe not, but my heart whispered I was no longer alone

I’d gathered so many veils that were hiding the truth

So I didn’t ‘get’ where I was but the Travellers knew…

I’d found that which is lasting and that which is true.

I had come in from the deserts and come in from the seas

And found the Love and Light within you

Sees the Love and Light within me

And I can say to you that

Through the Travellers I’ve found

That Love is alive and

It has lit who I am.

If you ask me to define MSIA in a few words

I would say that

MSIA is about Loving, and well,

God Is Love

In the year after our Lord – nineteen ninety &
