I looked around the seminar room at the preciousness of so many of our church “elders” gathered for John Morton\u2019s seminar. Those dear ones have been involved in MSIA for so many years. This was an intimate and sweet gathering that reminded me of the early days in the 1970’s when J-R would come to Prana and give seminars in the same way John Morton does now.<\/p>\n
Denise Lumiere was our Seminar Host. She shared that she lived here at Prana in the 1970’s when there were 100 residents. Then Denise called in the Light, an invocation for God’s Holy Spirit and Christ Light to be with us, followed by everyone chanting the Ani-Hu. Hu is an ancient name of God, and the Ani invokes oneness and empathy.<\/p>\n
Next, Denise introduced Beth Hinman, and Beth shared two original poems: “Life’s Labyrinth”, and “I Am”. Following Beth, Denise introduced her son, Eric Lumiere, who played guitar and sang an original song, “Star, Sword and Rose.”<\/p>\n
We were then treated to a Moment of Peace video with John-Roger, titled “Go Within and Listen to the Silence in Loving.\u201d Then Denise introduced John Morton, saying that John holds an incredible strength, peace, and beauty, and he is a loving Soul.<\/p>\n
John welcomed us all. He opened the Q&A by asking us all a question: “Who in here has made cookies from scratch?” And many of us raised our hands as we saw John\u2019s hand raised too [did I mention in the beginning that sweetness was part of the essence?] John talked of the MSIA early years, and of J-R doing spiritual attunements, and then he likened Spirit to waves and waves upon the shore, and as the waves came they gained momentum. I heard John explain that we are not as aware as we could be of the spiritual waves coming upon us. So, we need to be in attunement. Like imagining us all as an orchestra, and we all have an instrument, and we are all called upon to come into attunement and handle whatever is necessary. Are we prepared to do that?<\/p>\n
Are we hearing the spiritual attunement of our instruments, of our voices, the harmonics of various chords and notes that are playing in the orchestra or chorus and also the words? John reflected on the video we watched, and shared how J-R was inviting us to be more conscious and exercise the Spirit and to picture what we want. Opportunities to hold and see what we want in greater detail will allow the attunement to take hold. By our willingness to be attuned, there is discipline. Have the mind of Christ to have that attunement.<\/p>\n
One participant’s question of the evening was asking for bringing Christ into our consciousness, so John then gave us the experience, much like he does when placing a blessing. He called this, “The Christ Attunement.”<\/p>\n
“The opportunity now is to move into seeing the good, and beholding the love of God before you in any form.”
