**Meet with Fellow Reps & Set Clear 2017 Intentions<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 This is a great time to meet with your area Reps and set your community vision for the coming year.\u00a0 For example, you might want to offer more PTS classes or MSIA seminars, have your first MSIA staff event, or grow your community by attracting new folks.\u00a0 Once you\u2019ve identified your vision, invite Spirit as your partner by holding a clear intention for what you\u2019d like to manifest.\u00a0 (Seeding and sending the Light are great options too!)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
**Set a Regular Time for Community Contact<\/em><\/strong> – People really respond to phone calls.\u00a0 Why not set a regular time in your schedule to call people on your Discourse-subscribers list? You can check in with what your community wants, invite them to events, and simply connect in loving.\u00a0 When I was in Australia, I called the Discourse subscribers there and invited them to the annual Conference. So many thanked me for the call, saying how grateful they were for our conversation!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
** Plan a Meeting with Seminar Leaders \/ Facilitators<\/strong><\/em>\u2013 Another option for your community planning is to hold a gathering with local Seminar Leaders and PTS Facilitators.\u00a0 This can be a lovely way to engage their enthusiasm and participation, and to create community.\u00a0 At the meeting, you could create an events schedule, set enrollment goals, identify \u201cout of the box\u201d ways to inspire participation, and ask for support from Spirit (and each other!).<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
**Choose Salient Topics – <\/em><\/strong>When planning your events, focus on topics that your community can really relate to.\u00a0 For example, when you\u2019re organizing public events, consider offering a themed seminar such as New Beginnings with Forgiveness<\/em> or An Evening of Gratitude<\/em>.\u00a0 Or when you\u2019re getting going with your yearly staff visit, you may want to do a phone survey and ask each subscriber their top 3 kinds of events they\u2019d like to see.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
**Take Care of Yourself – <\/em><\/strong>J-R has repeatedly said how important it is to take care of ourselves so we can help take care of others.\u00a0 The start of the New Year is a fantastic time to up level your self-care repertoire as solid foundation for your service.\u00a0 Just this past weekend, I identified and committed to key practices that I can do each week to nurture myself (and I\u2019m already aware of more energy to do my work!).\u00a0 Remember to keep your action steps simple \u2013 this way, you\u2019re probably more likely to do them and set yourself up for success. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
