John Morton and Staff were in town doing services and a workshop. John did an open-to-the-public seminar on Friday evening. It was attended by 60+ local and out-of-state folks who’ve been in MSIA for quite some time. Some of the locations represented, that this 60-something mind can recall, include: Canada, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania and, of course, California. Also present were two highly evolved individuals who’d never been involved with MSIA before, AND they signed up for Discourses and for the weekend workshop! John talked about MSIA, shared personal anecdotes, and took sharing from the audience. It was quite a special evening.

Then came Saturday morning at the Radisson. People started arriving early and schmoozing over coffee and tea from the upstairs cafe. The “angel team” of assistants was led by captain Carole Nyitray, and Kay Stolsonburg was our “guardian angel.” The assistants greeted us at the door, handled registration and name tags, provided music and uplifting excerpts, sold products, raised and lowered lights and temperature, and whatever else was needed. And at 10am “The Sound Current of God” workshop began, facilitated by Angel Harper, with John joining us several times over the weekend to take sharings and bless us with his presence.

The workshop itself was two days full of grace and ease; the more I relaxed, the more grace and ease came present. There were very few processes and a lot of wonderful J-R excerpts that took us deeper and deeper inside, with Angel connecting all the pieces with meditations, inspirational ideas, and just being herself. (I know her voice is changing — getting stronger, even just since last year.)

There’s also a classic, spiral-bound, 30+ page booklet that includes quotes, plenty of room to write, and a removable chart of the realms. And for whatever reason, I made a lot of notes this year. One was “We hear things, but do we listen?” Another was from an interview Leigh Taylor-Young Morton did of Dr. Ishwar Puri (a sound current master) who shared his practices (different words, but very similar to MSIA). He said an important thing to remember when going through difficult time, “So what?” ??!!! :o)

All in all, it was a very GRACE-filled weekend, and we invite all of you to join us next year in this special place called Kalamazoo!

A sacred, joy-filled, sprinkled with humor weekend took place in Kalamazoo last month.
