The PAT trainings involve intensive one-on-one processes designed to keep the body\/mind\/emotions in the present moment and burrow through all the levels of consciousness so that you have a clear, direct experience of Spirit, the True Self.\u00a0 I think they\u2019re J-R\u2019s most brilliant creation in the physical world. They\u2019re on the level of some of the greatest works of art\u2014the Sistine ceiling, the works of Shakespeare, etc. I\u2019ve been to hundreds of them. The design is so simple, it\u2019s ingenious. <\/p>\n
This PAT happened in Australia, in a beautiful home-like colonial-style resort in Bowral, about an hour and a half outside of Sydney. Green and well-kept, with gardens and a golf course. It feels like what I imagine as Australia 100 years ago, an outback outpost but with modern conveniences. Great food, with an easy and caring sense of service. The Aussies have a friendliness, community consciousness, British politeness, and sense of equality that\u2019s a relief from the relentless competitiveness that\u2019s seeped into American culture in the last few decades. Life is slower and there\u2019s less fear. There\u2019s also not as much happening which is good or bad depending on your personal preference, risk-tolerance, pain threshold and how much you want to be kicked into growing at a very rapid rate. America kicks your butt and Australia pats it. An excellent place for a PAT training. The Aussies are undramatic, unpretentious and very funny. It\u2019s a close-knit community, people all seem to know each other and look after each other.<\/p>\n
Thanks to John Morton who held the energy with such panache, Leigh and Angel who facilitated, and all the Aussie assistants who put so much work into planning this and making sure it all happened so gracefully. They\u2019re already planning the next one\u2014a \u201cRoyal Road\u201d PAT in 2020. It\u2019s going to be different from anything you\u2019ve ever experienced, and it will be the same as every other second of your life.<\/p>\n
