Today is our last day at Lake Como. After another delightful breakfast, many of us explore the hotel grounds, some rest and others take small excursions on the boat taxi’s to shop, eat and visit the towns around the Lake before departing to our next destination. <\/p>\n
For our last evening, we gather together for a group dinner at the Lakeshore hotel restaurant. The restaurant is on the water’s edge of Lake Como, with sand under our feet for a total beach immersion with chaise lounges and small cocktail tables to sit at and relax as we gaze out on the beautiful lake. The waiters walk about with trays of hors-d’oeuvres and skewers of vegetables, salmon, meat, cheese balls, and fried dried sage. <\/p>\n
Celebration and joy light up the night with everyone as we celebrate our last evening watching the sun go down and the moonlight set upon the lakeside beachside setting. As the evening ends, we begin to stroll back to our rooms for one more night at Lake Como before we drift off into sleep on the Travelers night train.<\/p>\n
