MSIA Minister, Sandy Lyne, has been volunteering at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana, where evacuees from hurricane Katrina have been residing. Sandy sent a brief update about the service work that he and many others are doing at the Cajundome. You can read Sandy’s update here<\/a><\/b>. Mother, Father, you should love them both.
They were with you through all your childhood.
When you were bad they still loved you with all their heart.
Sometimes I sit down and cry cause it tears me apart.
The pain I have is really bad.
It is a blessing to have them here.

My house is washed away, no longer here.
Once we go back home we will share so many tears.
We might have lost our homes
but we never lost our love for one another.
We have been so blessed.

Parents have some struggles.
There were many tears.
But not that everything is gone
and we are alone.
God is in our lives still.

She says she’s been abused
and she has many secrets,
