Search the Loving Each Day Quotes

Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.

Chant not as a repetitive gesture by rote, but as a new expression each time. Don't add up how many times you chanted the name of the Lord for sixty minutes. That's history; that's gone. Make each minute new, each second something that has just come into creation for you to awaken to God.

The Soul, the Spirit within, is perfect and is an extension of God into this level. The consciousness on this level is continuously progressing. If you can awaken to the dual nature of yourself and others, you are awakening to Spirit in greater reality.

People say, "Oh God, help me!" They ask me, "Can you put something inside of me that will make me grow and develop faster?" And the answer is, "Be patient, because that is part of your spiritual discipline." Be patient. Be now. Be here. Don't forget that it's all here already.

If you were free of your self judgment you could rest on the laurels of the Beloved who is you.

What are some of the limitations? The times we may try to make our lack of success someone else's fault. And if we're not blaming someone else, we may blame something within us, as if we have no control over it. How many times have you not done something positive on the basis of, "I can't because I have a headache," or "I'm just not up to it today"? Then you might wonder why opportunity doesn't seem to knock at your door more often. If you have shut the door on small opportunities, the big ones may not come calling. Blaming someone (including yourself) does not improve your condition, so it's an approach that can simply be dropped. Why waste time on blaming if it doesn't get you what you want?

Love can sometimes take you into some pretty divey places, under the name of love. But if you really go under love, it will protect you. Isn't it nice to know that you don't have to be afraid of one thing and you're still protected? Sometimes when you are losing weight, you get to look at some things that were put in you - "unloving" and maybe "afraid" are going to raise their heads and go, "Hello there." You need to be willing to look them in the face, stare them down, and let them fall away.

John-Roger, DSS
In the world of the true self, there's no need for such calculations. All we have to do is call on divine nature authentically - honestly, directly, forthrightly - by going within. The kingdom of heaven is within. The Soul resides within. Whether we call it prayer, meditation, silence, stillness, communion, or spiritual exercises, making contact with divine energy is the way to tap in to authentic power. When we tap in to authentic power, we do not then need to become anything in the world. We just become present with the true self. The true self is joyful and loving. It needs nothing external to be joyful about.

One key thing really makes this work - and you can do this with the Mystical Traveler or Jesus Christ or the Buddha or your little daughter or whoever - and that is to fill yourself up inside with them. You think of them with so much love that if they were there, you would kiss and love them straight to God. You fill up with so much, with their essence, that you enter into it. I use Jesus Christ.

Question: What stops me from enjoying my life more? Answer: You have habitual patterns, like a number of people, where you focus on the negative, you get involved in the negative, and you get fascinated by it. That's one of the elements that negativity has on our consciousness - fascination. It has an attraction, a glamour, and it holds our attention. It's allowed to do that, to have energy that our consciousness responds to, but we're larger than whatever the negativity is. So we have the ability to transcend it. Always, that ability is there. The more you know that ability and direct it to overcome, the less the negativity impacts on you. You may find that you're simply directing your energy into what serves you, into who you are.

Do so much good in your day that you are exhausted from the satisfaction.
