Here is one of those seminars filled with John-Roger \u201cfolklore.\u201d J-R discusses education and how he learned some of his greatest lessons from his Dad. There\u2019s a particularly poignant (and funny) story of how he arranged for one of his college graduate friends to apply for a job where J-R\u2019s dynamic Dad \u2014 a sixth grade graduate \u2014 did the hiring. Part of the learning is that you don\u2019t necessarily need a formal education yourself if you\u2019re smart enough to use the resources at hand. Looking back at his own college days, J-R says he learned that \u201cThe only thing that was of ever of value in life is what I could do, not what I had done.\u201d<\/p>\n
During the seminar, J-R shares how to turn hurts into opportunities for upliftment, and reminds us of the golden rule \u2013 to be loving.<\/p>\n
