A Soul Awareness Seminar (SAT) by John-Roger<\/p>\n
In this John-Roger seminar are contained many of the teachings of MSIA.
\nJ-R often teaches by using stories from his experiences. In one, he tells
\nof dialoguing with someone who seemed to be living his life and holding others
\nto the literalness of Biblical quotes. J-R helps the person see that inside he has
\nlost the essence of Spirit. “Your energy level is right in front of your face,” J-R says.
\n“It’s called a lot of terms, like prana or cosmic energy but hey, look, it\u2019s just breath.
\nIt\u2019s just breathing in and out. When we do that, we\u2019re actually saying the name
\nof God. That\u2019s the name of God that we\u2019re saying over and over.”<\/p>\n
J-R goes on to speak of another conversation in which he said to the person,
\n“You know, you\u2019re a very lovely person. Except your God isn\u2019t big enough.
\nAnd — this is really important — sometimes we\u2019ve got ourselves so narrowed down
\nto what God can and can\u2019t do, that pretty soon we\u2019ve put Him out of business.
\nMany times the philosophy that we are embracing is not large enough to free us.
\nAnd then it becomes important that we reevaluate to become freer.” <\/p>\n
“You\u2019ll find one thing in MSIA,” J-R says, getting down to the bottom line of the
\nteachings. “This is another way of knowing God, and it is what we call love.
\nDo it through love. And that love is hard to define, but you feel a joy start to
\ntake place inside of you — a real joy.” That’s when you see God.<\/p>\n
