This lively seminar is particularly helpful for people new to The Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness. In it, John-Roger makes clear that the “I” is not the body or the emotions, nor it is the mind. Throughout the seminar, J-R takes on the task of helping us understand inner awareness. It’s this very inner awareness that is the focus of MSIA. Not only are we taught to understand it, we are given help in finding our own inner awareness.<\/p>\n
“See,” J-R says, “once we get past the body and the emotions and the mind, we come back to what I’m going to start calling some different names to expand your mind a little bit. Let’s call it the Soul. Let’s call it the Supreme Being. Let’s just call it being pure: pureness; or we could call it High Self. If you’ve got some other names that you feel more comfortable with, like Gertrude or Max, go ahead and call it that. I mean, I don’t care.”<\/p>\n
