Recorded in 1972 in Chatsworth, California, this early seminar finds John-Roger using humor, storytelling, and the occasional well-placed jab to shake listeners loose from their mental and emotional patterns and reconnect them with what he calls the life force \u2014 the Spirit at the center of all existence. He draws a clear distinction between affirming truth and actually living it, illustrated through an account of a minister whose confident self-declared calling affirmed him right out of his job.<\/p>\n
J-R makes the case that everything on this planet \u2014 confusion, depression, embarrassment, even getting fired \u2014 is designed to uplift us into spiritual consciousness, and that the life force itself is ethical and will never lead us to harm another.<\/p>\n
