J-R says, “Jealousy stems from the basic lack of self confidence and a weak self concept of who you are.\u201d But it\u2019s not that simple, \u201cJealousy is a self defense mechanism. So if it is a mechanism, that means it has underlying parts that mesh together and if you try to handle only one part you can’t be effective.\u201d<\/p>\n
