“Why is it that we know what is right and proper for us to do all the time and we won’t do it?” There’s John Roger’s question for this seminar, echoing a silent question within each of us, no doubt! “What is wrong with us?” he asks.<\/p>\n
The seminar is a lively, story-filled discussion of the stuck places inside that keep us from expanding into who we really are. J-R covers a lot of ground, speaking about families, relationships, stuckness about learning, or getting older, or physical challenges…those things we could call ‘handicaps’.<\/p>\n
“Let’s get it straight in our heads,” J-R says. “Everything that is happening to our life we either created, allowed, or promoted.” Oops, there goes any excuse for hanging onto old responses. “Because,” he continues, “if you don’t live the potential you’ve got and be responsible to that, it doesn’t matter what your potential is. So stop running that on yourself. Stop playing that game on yourself.”<\/p>\n
And how do you do that? “To make your life work for you, give up your greed for this world and the things that this world seems to offer you.”<\/p>\n
