This is a John-Roger seminar that touches every human on the planet because
\neach of us has several selves: the true self that is an extension of God into us
\nwhich we reference as a Soul; and the false self….yes, that one! J-R says, “The
\nfalse self is much easier to recognize than the true self. It\u2019s the one that says,
\n‘Nobody loves me. Woe is me. I\u2019m concerned about what people say and think
\nabout me. I\u2019m depressed. I\u2019m blah.’…..in other words, all of these bummers,
\ndepressions, and illusions. All are perpetrated by the false self.” Get the picture?<\/p>\n
J-R continues this way. “This is a planet of learning, a planet of mistakes, a planet
\nof errors. And so in a sense of the word, we really can\u2019t fail. We can only say and
\nthink, ‘I\u2019m a failure,’ which is giving strength into a false image. When you start
\ncoming back around the same path, that should be the time when you say, ‘Is this
\nreally working for me?’ This is when I say, it takes courage to see the face of God.
\nYour own face. Your own Soul. The Divine Light. The True Self.”<\/p>\n
J-R gives us concrete examples of what to look for within ourselves. “There is a true
\nself,” he says, “and when you\u2019ve moved your consciousness into the true self, you\u2019ll
\nfind joy and happiness, a state of thankfulness, of acceptance, and of enthusiasm.
\nYou’ll find life very balanced.<\/p>\n
