John-Roger says, \u201cBasically, the word ‘Integrity’ means wholeness. A man of integrity isn\u2019t divided against himself. He doesn\u2019t think one thing and say another. He doesn\u2019t believe in one thing and do another. So he\u2019s not in conflict with his own principles. I\u2019m convinced that gives a man the extra energy and clarity of thought that make achievement inevitable\u201d If you’re a woman reading this, just put the word ‘woman’ in there because J-R is talking to you too.<\/p>\n
J-R continues with many examples of just what it takes to get integrity and live from there. He says, “How does one acquire it? Practice honesty in little things: not telling that small lie when it\u2019s inconvenient to tell the truth\u201d; not repeating that juicy bit of gossip that is quite possibly untrue; not charging that personal phone call to the office. Such disciplines may sound small, but when you really seek integrity and begin to find it, it develops its own power that sweeps you along.\u201d<\/p>\n
And why bother doing these small things? J-R says, “What\u2019s interesting is that what comes with it is a spiritual gift that you get every time you enter the place of integrity. Regardless of fame, money, power, or any of the conventional yardsticks, if you seek and find integrity, you are a success.\u201d<\/p>\n
