“To know yourself is realization. To do yourself is actualization.” In this way, John-Roger begins this short, very useful seminar which focuses more on the ‘doing’ than on the ‘realizing.’ Very much the spiritual scientist, J-R delves into the how-to of doing.<\/p>\n
If you’re not sure about the focus for the seminar, J-R makes it very plain. “Do you have an automobile?” he asks. “You realize that? You know that? That’s realization. Do you drive your car? That’s actualization.”……doing.<\/p>\n
In the course of the seminar, J-R briefly reviews our levels of consciousness and makes clear how we can actualize each one.<\/p>\n
Finally, J-R proposes a solution for the anxiety we experience by doing. “I say, ‘God, You’re my partner, I’m giving it into Your Hands. And I’ll walk my body through it.'” And he reminds us that in any effort of doing, “If you could have done better, you would have. If you could have done worse, you would have.
