“There is a word that is used in an inner silence to invoke a virtue from heaven,” J-R continues, “to invoke a special protection, a special upliftment for you. The word is ‘Baraka.’ And this means Divine Essence is extended to you.” J-R speaks of the purpose of our physical bodies and observes that they are not designed to maintain spiritual energy of a perfected nature, mostly because the body was designed to eventually decay and be discarded. He reminds us that what we are doing as spiritual seekers is learning to fight our physicalness. “The greatest key that you can have while living in the physical form,” he says, “will be the experience of having transcended the form.”
