Understanding something intellectually isn’t enough. That’s the point John-Roger is making in this seminar. He says, “You hear people say ‘Oh I understand that, I understand. I hear what you’re saying,’ and they still keep running the same junk. Understanding intellectually won’t do it for you.”
“There comes a time when the trauma of life moves on you,” he says, “and you understand it emotionally. You feel a tremendous depth of what has happened; something just goes “bomp” and you know, and that knowing produces a fundamental change in your behavior. At that moment, you’ve entered into a real depth of who you are.” J-R goes on, “The Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness has been teaching that for a good many years now. We’ve been teaching: use what you know. It doesn’t matter where you get the information about your life if your end result is uplifting.”
In the course of the seminar, J-R uses many examples to help his words live inside of you as an experience, rather than as words for the intellect.
God Bless You!
