This is a John-Roger seminar that touches every human on the planet because
each of us has several selves: the true self that is an extension of God into us
which we reference as a Soul; and the false self….yes, that one! J-R says, “The
false self is much easier to recognize than the true self. Itā€™s the one that says,
‘Nobody loves me. Woe is me. Iā€™m concerned about what people say and think
about me. Iā€™m depressed. Iā€™m blah.’…..in other words, all of these bummers,
depressions, and illusions. All are perpetrated by the false self.” Get the picture?

J-R continues this way. “This is a planet of learning, a planet of mistakes, a planet
of errors. And so in a sense of the word, we really canā€™t fail. We can only say and
think, ‘Iā€™m a failure,’ which is giving strength into a false image. When you start
coming back around the same path, that should be the time when you say, ‘Is this
really working for me?’ This is when I say, it takes courage to see the face of God.
Your own face. Your own Soul. The Divine Light. The True Self.”

J-R gives us concrete examples of what to look for within ourselves. “There is a true
self,” he says, “and when youā€™ve moved your consciousness into the true self, youā€™ll
find joy and happiness, a state of thankfulness, of acceptance, and of enthusiasm.
You’ll find life very balanced.

God Bless You!
