Here is a seminar addressing the times we are living through. John-Roger begins this way, “I wonder if people are finally getting the internal message that their peace and their happiness and their joy is entirely in their own hands. And if they decide to give it over to somebody or something else, they lose their happiness.”
Using stories from his own life and from Biblical times, J-R makes the source of violence clear. He says it comes from that spoiled place inside of us — reinforced by the negative power on the planet — that wants its way, no matter what.
J-R says, “We are peace. We have forgotten that.” He calls our attention to the upsetting violence and bad news that bombard us constantly. Then he guides us to a path through the outer negativity by reminding us of our inner peacefulness. We can practice overcoming violence within ourselves, and J-R shows us how.
