The imagination is the creative force. When you can harness it and start putting your mind where you want your mind to be and not where your sexual organs want it to be, then you are overcoming the flesh. This doesn't mean that you renounce sex and become celibate. It means that you put sex in proper perspective and use it as an expression and a fulfillment, rather than as the most important thing in the world.
