Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
When we leave that center of Divine awareness and go out in the world, we must go out as a participant observer. Going out is participating; the rest is observing. If you do not succeed at this the first time, don't worry. You are going to be given millions of opportunities to work at it: Namely, every moment of your life.
Anyone truly utilizing their life resources to advantage is working on using everything to get better and to make things better. One way we can know whether anyone is on their correct path is to look back at the results of their life. If you find that wherever they have been, they have left it better than they found it, then they have applied the consciousness that is always lifting.
It is so important to allow each consciousness, each Soul, the freedom to evolve into its own awareness in its own timing.
Q: How does one control the wavering thoughts while doing meditation? A: With practice. The natural tendency of the mind is to wander and the process of meditation or spiritual exercises will help to discipline the mind and keep it directed the way you want it to go. If you are a beginner to meditation or spiritual exercises, it's a good idea not to try to "keep the mind quiet." The mind can continue to chatter but you just place it off to the side and continue to meditate. Don't be real concerned at first if your thoughts are all over the place. As you practice and continue to discipline yourself, you will experience the results. It can take time, so be patient with yourself.
Forgive yourself and the other person. Forgive the emotions you ran on someone else. Forgive the other person. For to err is human; to forgive, divine.
I hope I have made it clear that the Spiritual Warrior never tries to control the guilt, the separation, and the rest. We observe them. Observation is a state of detachment, which lifts us into a greater awareness. We become more and more free.
The love we teach in MSIA is the love of understanding, acceptance, and support. It's the love that says, "Whatever you do is fine. I'll assist you, and I'll lift you." It's a peaceful, easy-going, flowing love.
Ask for the Lord's hand to guide you, to lift you up, to show you the way and to bring you closer in loving embrace that you are entirely loved, forgiven, cherished and healed of all that beguiles you.
It becomes very easy to get lost, sidetracked, confused, and frightened as you move through your experience, trying to find your way home. When you can reach beyond all these negative levels and perceive from the Soul, from the positive aspect of yourself, you can lift in consciousness, see where your home is, and see which path will lead you there. And whether the rough terrain lasts for ten miles or only a half mile, you can see what to do to traverse the path.
The process of mastering - expressing, refining, and perfecting - is continuous. The choice of following the upward path or the downward path presents itself to you many, many times each day. You get the chance to choose for Spirit or for worldly concerns. When you demonstrate mastership, no one can take it away from you. You secure your position by demonstrating the consciousness of it. In the same way, no one can place you in a position of mastership if you have not earned it.
