Charity is doing your work so well that people around you don't have to come along behind you and redo what you have done.

If you wake up from a bad dream, there are several things you can do to clear any feelings that seem to hang on: chant your initiatory tone, the Hu, or the Ani-Hu, surround yourself with the Light, and ask for the Mystical Traveler to help you release the dream experience. You can keep some water by your bed and drink a little of it to break the intensity of the dream experience and to help you come back into the body. Exercise can also break out-of-balance feelings from bad dreams.

John-Roger, DSS
We experience the sensual pleasures of the body thinking they will awaken our Souls; but they awaken nothing but our ego. Becoming aware of this can be terribly painful. What do I do with that pain? I sit back and I say, "Wow, look at all that emotion inside of me. It is right across my shoulder and through my right ear." I don't try to explain it away, or be rid of it. I simply observe it.

By asking for your spiritual fulfillment, you're exercising into the truth of your being. It is a valuable exercise and a joyful one. So be patient. Be kind. Be happy. Seek Spirit's loving embrace which at once consoles, heals, and delivers what you seek as your spiritual fulfillment.

John Morton, DSS
There is an implied directive: Do the best you can and encourage others to be the best they can around you. That means colleagues, supervisors, students, those under your supervision, friends, lovers, mates, even clerks and waiters serving you. Many people think encouragement is a verbal expression, such as, "Go for it," to be delivered with inspiring enthusiasm. That is a more obvious form of encouragement. A more powerful support is not said with the voice but is stated in the heart and manifest in attitude.

John-Roger, DSS
You are divine love. You are living love.

John-Roger, DSS
When you get to Soul, you can bring into the physical the Soul knowledge of what is, and you can correct the things in life that need correction. You can make your life wonderful and beautiful and joyous.

John-Roger, DSS
Love itself will let us know it is present and teach us how we should see it.

John-Roger, DSS
Q: What is the connection between spiritual exercises and the Light? A: What we teach through spiritual exercises is to have the experience and to be the experience of the Light. If I tell you that you are divine and you don't know it, what good has it been to you? But if I tell you that you are divine and that doing these exercises can bring you the experience of divinity, then you will know. Then you have found value. But it isn't waving a magic wand. The spiritual path is not easy. It takes great courage to see the face of God because you have to see it in your enemies and your loved ones and everyone else. And you have to look. But, at the same time, you can be awakening more and more to the Light frequency because the Light is Living in God's Holy Thoughts.

There is an aspect in Soul transcendence which I see as becoming one with God. In the process we are becoming one with God's truth and love. We are realizing the great courage and surrender involved with our freely choosing to be one with God in every aspect of the creation which is every moment and every situation.
