Children have to be taught to laugh at themselves and not to live their lives according to the opinions of others. Teach them to play roles and have fun with it. Let them dress up in funny costumes and have a good laugh at themselves. Let them put on plays and act out their ideas. These things are really healthy. It's important that children play. They learn many necessary things through their play.

Have you ever done something and then said, "What a waste?" Of course you have. But with a positive focus, you can say, "It was not a waste. That time I was wrong, next time I will be free to do it right." But if you defend your mistake, putting forth reasons and excuses, you cannot advance in life; you have nailed yourself to your mistake.

It's when you do spiritual exercises (s.e.'s) that the Traveler can reach into consciousness to the Soul, to strengthen and pull it up, so you may be three-quarters away from the body and one-quarter in the body during s.e.'s. Q: Do spiritual exercises (s.e.'s) often cause different physical manifestations to take place, like not seeing or hearing well? A: S.e.'s can sometimes do this, and you can also leave the body while doing s.e.'s, so we recommend that you don't do s.e.'s while driving a car or when you are working around machinery or are in other situations where your full attention is needed. If you're in the type of work where it doesn't matter if you have your eyes open or not, then it wouldn't make much difference. But if it's the type of job where you can't afford to be "out" that much, that's a different story. You have to determine the type of work you're doing. If your work is demonstrating the softness of mattresses by sleeping on them, it's not going to make any difference. If you're a cop directing traffic at Third and Main, I'd certainly not do anything but just stay wide awake.

There is one consciousness and that is the consciousness of God. There is only one reality and that is God reality. There is only one path and that is the path of Light. And there is only one manifestation, and that is love. Love does not destroy and it doesn't allow destruction so anyone residing in the power of love cannot be destroyed, cannot be separated, is always free and always growing. There is no reason to WAIT for love to appear in your life when it can be present RIGHT NOW.

When you see things inwardly, the best thing to do is just observe. You can always call on the Traveler for assistance, and you may even hear him say, "Just look," and then you love it all and forgive anything that needs forgiving.

Once we focus on love, we are motivated by the very essence of life, not by some pattern of fantasies that causes us to think, "Oh, I wonder what she'd be like in bed. I wonder what he'd be like in bed. I wonder what kind of car they're driving. I wonder what we're going to eat tomorrow for breakfast. I wonder if I'll be able to get home before the traffic gets jammed up." Wonder, instead, what you are doing right now, because Divine presence is here.
