Only human beings are capable of observing the presence of God in all things, including themselves. Human beings are sacred for that very reason. If only you could understand that simple fact, you would never need to read another self-help book!

Asking for help, plain and simple, is often what works best. If you have a fantasy about what should be or you hold fears of making mistakes, that's human and ordinary. Remember, you're safe in the arms of the Lord. So any vulnerability you feel can be used for your learning, growth and upliftment.

Q: I have heard you say many times that we are perfectly protected when we are working with the Mystical Traveler. Does this mean on the physical level, too? J-R: The protection is spiritual, not necessarily physical. If a karmic action can be handled in the night travels rather than in the physical, then it may well be that you don't have to go through the action physically. If it is for your highest good for you to go through an action physically, then you will go through it. Don't assume anything; pay attention and don't get yourself into situations where it is obvious that there is potential for physical harm.

When you speak of God, you attune yourself to God.

Remember there is an innocence, openness, and trust in children that manifests as freedom. If you are going to do something in your home that you don't want the neighbors and everybody else in the world to know about, don't do it in front of your children. They probably don't know a restrictive consciousness, and they'll tell everybody just about everything. Anything you want others to know or don't care if they know, you can do in front of your child. A child communicates its love by information, by talking about the things that are close to it. And one of the things closest to a child is the father and mother and the things they do. So they'll tell the neighbors all about you. You'd better live in the way you want it reported to the world. Live what you want the kids to tell the neighbors, and you'll be in good territory.

I call observation the key to letting go. When something disturbing shows up, and we observe it without reacting emotionally, we do not get thrown off balance.

When you're doing spiritual exercises, you hear the Sound and follow it, but if you don't also have the Light, you may stumble and fall. So you bring in the Light to see better. You also need love because that is the motivation to keep going. So you need the Light and Sound and love.

Spiritual progression is a continual process of leaving behind the old, familiar patterns and venturing into the new.

The way to move on worry free, which is part and parcel in the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness, is through your acceptance, trust and faith. Engage in the knowing that all is in God's perfect order. All is taken care of in God's light and love. Then you'll realize, "Hey, things are okay. I don't have to worry. I can move on, worry free."

It is important to take time for yourself each day -- time to focus into your spiritual awareness, time to drop the physical concerns of the moment and once again become aware that you are spiritual, that you are divine, that you are, through your Soul, an extension of the supreme God.
