One day, it could be this moment now, you are going to realize and understand that you are not your body, you are not your emotions or mind, you are not what you have done or what has happened to you so you are not your past nor future. You are a being of God in perfect working order and fully one with all of God's creation which has just one energy and that energy is loving. In that moment of realization you are going to be in relaxation. And you can claim this now so you can begin to relax more regardless of the conditions in your life. You can still do your life very actively while being relaxed as a way of doing and way of being who you are in the world regardless of the conditions present. None of the conditions matter to God when it comes to the loving and peace which are always present.

John Morton, DSS
As you change behavior, you change the emotion. As you change the emotion, you change the thinking. As you change the thinking, you're getting wisdom. As you gain wisdom, you go into forgiveness.

Remember, the only thing you can do on the planet is the best you can. The people on the earth do it the best they can, and then they say it wasn't the best they could. And then they worry about that, because they could have done better. And if they are given another chance, they will do it the same way the second time too. And a third, and a fourth, and a fifth, and sixth. What you might say to them is, "If you could have done better, you would have done better, and you did the best you could."

If there is food on the table and you have eaten enough, stop. Observe yourself. Watch what you are doing. If you have a headache and it feels like the worst headache in history, observe your headache. Close your eyes and look at it. You may say, "But every time I close my eyes, I think about it more and it hurts more." Yes, you think about it more. But thinking about it is not the same as observing it. Thinking can be a headache in itself! We learn nothing by fretting and becoming impatient. We don't grow. As Spiritual Warriors we want growth and expansion. So we observe.

You can ask for "the eight-foot cube of Light," and it will be there for spiritual protection in the physical world. It will be there. You can also just ask for "the cube of Light." This is how to protect yourself before the event occurs. To protect yourself after the event has occurred is like closing a barn door after the horse has run out. It's called dumb time. You protect yourself every time before you go out anywhere. When you go out your door, you just say, "Cube of Light." You may see it in your mind (but you don't have to see it); it's like a big box putting you in the Light. If you're going towards a large group of people, then you may say, "I want a hundred-foot Light barrier." The Spirit knows how to do this. You don't, but the Spirit does. What we do is inform the Spirit that we'd like it.

Q: I have heard that besides doing our spiritual exercises (s.e.'s) individually, there is also value in doing s.e.'s as a group. Can you comment on that? A: Doing s.e.'s as a group throws a "flying wedge" into negativity.

When faced with a personal health challenge, do whatever is available in your choices for caring and supporting yourself. Take initiative and learn how to better care for yourself. Remember, taking care of yourself is a divine responsibility.

Perhaps you would like to have a more creative job, more money, closer relationships, or greater happiness. How might you be blocking the kind of cooperation that would bring those to you? Attitude is one big factor. When you are in a state of cooperation, your attitude is one of joy and enthusiasm. If you are asked to do something, you do it -- and then some. You not only do the job at hand fully and completely, but you also look ahead to the next project. Your focus extends beyond yourself and your immediate needs and desires.

When you walk away from something that stirs the feeling of, "God, this is wonderful!" and think of it, and all this loving comes up inside of you, guess where you now have it? Inside of you. You now have the ability to access and touch that whenever you want to. Here's the bad news. If you don't practice that, it will go away. It gets lost in the rest of the ego functions. It's like an affirmation that you must do over and over again. But affirmations are more in the area of the mind, ego, and feelings, whereas the spiritual heart moves the consciousness to a place where you will lovingly self-correct because that is the right, loving thing to do. The spiritual heart then embraces the ego and the ego feels wonderful to have made the self-correction. It feels proud and it will say, "Look, I did that wrong. Now look how right I do it!" And it feels great when everybody goes, "Yeah, that's right." You're bringing all the diverse levels of your personality into a focus, back inside of you, and you're grabbing control of it consciously, touching it and activating it.
