We can't get the truth out of this outer world. Somebody says that this stone is worth five dollars, and another one says it's worth five hundred, and they're both experts. What do you do? Keep the stone, sell it to the highest bidder, or do whatever you see fit. Do what you please in your life. If you do what's best for you at any given time, you're going to learn and grow.

The initiatory tone is the direct link between your consciousness and the Sound Current of God. It is one of the greatest keys to your spiritual freedom that exists. You are placing yourself in the mainstream of Sound that is flowing back into the Supreme Godhead. It is the ultimate prayer and will bring with it the ultimate fulfillment.

To receive, you must be active. Keep in mind your purpose. You will receive in direct proportion to your clarity of vision, your definiteness of purpose, the steadiness of your faith, and the depth of your gratitude.

Spiritual fulfillment means the realization of your true self -- of who you are. You can't realize that just through your mind or anything that this world can bring to you. That realization is an inner experience in which you know that you are not only just enough but you are always more than enough. That means there's nothing that exists or is in your life that can ever stop you from your spiritual fulfillment.

If you deny something, that doesn't put it out of existence. In fact, the act of mentally denying something actually affirms it because you put energy into it instead of letting it go. The best way to let something go is just to stop participating in its energy field and to go in another direction. The thing or issue then ceases to be a source of distracting energy in your life.

Having a family and being on a spiritual path can go hand in hand. As you see and serve God in other people and in your family the two blend and become one, so that your devotion to God and your devotion to your family do not conflict. You might be experiencing the Soul communicating to you that your priorities are awareness of God, devotion to God and service to God. And as the Soul awakens and discovers itself it may be wise for you not to get caught up in the world and the negativity here. The priorities of this earth may come second, although as you serve your family you may truly be serving God and then there is no contradiction.

Whether we attach our egos to our race, our gender, our nationality, our bank account, our profession, our abilities, when we come right down to it, we are all the same thing -- a child of God -- and our true home is in the Soul realm. Everything else is designed to assist us in returning to where we started, the source, the I Am that I Am.

When we start to become whole and complete, the goodness of God in us starts to flow up and out, and takes the personality and lifts it up. That doesn't mean that the negative side won't still nag away at us. But if we acknowledge the negative side, it will lose its power and will cease to control us.

Decide just how much time each day you can realistically devote to spiritual exercises (s.e.'s). It might be five minutes. Whatever it is, you can make a commitment to yourself to do s.e.'s for that amount of time each day for one month. At the end of that month, you can evaluate the situation. You may decide to continue for another month at the same amount of time, or you may decide to increase it by five more minutes for the next thirty days. Whatever you decide, the important thing is to carry through with your commitment, making the amount of time you choose okay with you.
