Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
Trust the supreme God of all of the creation who loves and knows the truth of all.
I'll tell you a secret about this world: it meets you exactly where it finds you and gives you what you present to it. So, if you go out there looking for anger, it will justify your anger. If you go out there looking for love, it will justify your love. If you're looking for animosity and hatred, it will give you animosity and hatred. It will match exactly what you put out. That's the key if you want health, wealth, and happiness.
Things of the world are to be used. If you have something that you can't use, pass it along to someone who can. If everyone did this, do you think there would be shortages in this world?
Your children will tend to cope with the world much the same way you do. Children learn by example. If you don't do too well, how are they going to do better? If you're really good at lifemanship, however, they're going to learn. Take your children out into the world and teach them what to do. Take them to social gatherings, churches, bowling alleys, circuses, art galleries, parades, and the theatre. Show them how to behave by demonstrating how to behave.
Victimhood means letting your emotions dictate your consciousness. How does that happen? There is a dark side within us, and we must learn to confront it. That dark side is an enemy to all our highest intentions. We have to go into the dark part of ourselves and love that dark part. For loving it is the key to the Kingdom. And we have to stand up and acknowledge that it is part of us.
If you are going to have to learn everything by experience, you are dead. In one sense, you can only live on your experience, but it is not necessary to rob banks, get electrocuted, or get five hundred speeding tickets. That is dumb. Instead, you may follow the Lord's Prayer, "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil" (Matthew 6:13). That evil is unnecessary experience. The Soul does not care if it has twenty billion debits and it is going to be here until the "last wipe." It just says, "I'll see what the wipe is about." That is also a very naive Soul because it is not learning from its own experiences and transcending into a higher consciousness. Its karma is to stay low. And, as the saying goes, it is hard to soar like an eagle when you are with a bunch of turkeys. Get with the eagles.
Come back inside, and just put the loving there with people. And if you don't know somebody, that's no reason not to be loving. You're not going to just put it out there; you're going to keep it inside of you. When the two of you connect, then you extend it. And when they leave, pull it back. Put it out and pull it back. If you leave it out there somebody's going to blunder in and hurt it. Keep your heart back where it belongs. Keep your eyes on what you're doing. Keep your thoughts on where you want to go.
Devotion is whatever we determine is most important. Devotion could be negative or positive. My devotion is loving. I find that's the most important aspect of my life. Everybody needs to love and to be loved. If we were all experiencing that we're being loved and loving, today would be a grand celebration in the world. I can imagine that. I can dream and envision that. So I know the loving begins within me.
About the time you move into the consciousness of service, you start realizing that the first thing you have to do is TO LOVE. When you love, you don't look at anything as being a burden or a sacrifice, and you may not be overly concerned about the truth. And when you love, you're in an area of faith all the time, the living faith which is demonstrated continually. In love you don't even have to use the intelligence. Through divine love you will see all things in proper perspective, and you use your will only to recognize it. Your love becomes devotion, "I love you. God bless you." You can even bypass the area of discipline and enter directly into the area of divine service to become part of the living free.
Survival isn't physical longevity. Survival is spiritual longevity. If you haven't survived spiritually it doesn't matter how long you live here physically, because your physical body is going to die at some point. It's interesting to think about how we try to protect something that isn't going to work. If you can really understand what that means, a lot of those things that you now hold "sacred" -- your "sacred cows" and those things that you defend through ego -- will fall from you. At that moment you're free. But you don't have liberation until you recognize and know your own Soul.
