By making positive and uplifting choices in your life you will be choosing back to Spirit; and when you choose back, Spirit can work more closely with you.

John-Roger, DSS
In Spirit, there is no fear or worry. Who you are as a Soul is free from anxiety. Although anxiety or negativity may be around you, anxiety is not who you truly are. Who you are in truth is loving, clear, and calm always.

John Morton, DSS
To know what is spiritual in a situation, you have to get above it, not run any of your own stuff on it, and move to a place of observation. If you would just enter into observation, you would be able to perceive so much more clearly. From that state of observation, you realize that there's nothing there. You have nothing to gain or lose one way or another, and it doesn't matter whether you are involved or not. You'll be able to see things really clearly, just for what they are. And if you don't see something clearly, you shouldn't assume anything about it, because as soon as you assume anything, guess what? You've moved out of observation and you have your own stuff mixed up in there.

John-Roger, DSS
The commandments are very easy: to love God with all your body, mind and Soul and to love your neighbor as yourself. All the rest of the Bible is a commentary on that.

John-Roger, DSS
It is true that the lessons you "fail" in life will come around again. You'll get another opportunity to see if you learned. When you do learn to pass a test, you will have achieved mastery of that area and may no longer be tested on that.

John-Roger, DSS
Why play the victim with anyone, young or old? It's not that you have to participate with everyone you meet. You choose to what degree you want to become involved. But if we do not acknowledge our irritation or joy, and so master it, it will drive us crazy. We will get nervous, irritable, upset. We will have attacks of terror, anxiety, or depression. All these feelings are nothing but signs that we are not acknowledging parts of ourselves. You may be thinking, "But you don't know what I've been through, what a struggle, what a battle my life has been!" I understand that, but remember that everyone has struggled. It's not the trouble and pain you've been through that makes you special.

John-Roger, DSS
Spiritual exercises can open your eyes to the other realms and levels (invisible realms and levels of Light beyond the physical realm). When this happens, you can see more clearly how you and your patterns of existence fit in with the larger scheme of things, and you will be more willing to cooperate with what is happening and the path that God has prepared for you. If you are unwilling to recognize the divine perfection of your own nature and everyone else's, that unwillingness can keep the spiritual eyes closed on the inner realms.

John-Roger, DSS
Keep the loving going. Loving is a state of forgiveness and openness.

We don't worship traditions or the past or things carved in stone. We are alive with a living, loving truth that radiates to all in equal measure.

John Morton, DSS
To discern truth, you can use your intelligence. Intelligence is the key to bypass your hang-ups and move into what is without judgments, prejudice, or the idea of personal gain.
