The first spiritual law of acceptance offers another choice: instead of condemning yourself for your missteps, you can accept them. We can seldom control what happens in life, but it is always within our power to choose our response.

You can make your hell, your animosity, inside of you by your whole approach to what you think life should give to you. The old adage that "life owes you a living" is nonsense. It owes you absolutely nothing. And Spirit owes you nothing. You must take from It, but you can't take in a consciousness of poverty. It states in the Bible that man was created to have dominion over all things (Genesis 1). But first you must be a "man," a human, and that's a very beautiful thing to be. This is not an animal masquerading in the human form. It is being that one who can truly handle whatever comes their way.

Since I started this spiritual work, I have talked to many, many groups and individuals all over the world, and always my approach has been to tell them that there are other worlds besides just this physical world and that they can know them -- in fact, that this is each person's divine heritage. Many people have listened and some have heard, and I have learned over the years that my job is not to try to convince anyone of what I say but just to keep on saying it as long as the Spirit wants me to.

God, in His perfect consciousness, has placed out certain patterns that each individualized consciousness, each Soul, must fulfill. And all humans will fulfill the patterns in their own timing.

Learn to act more fully in faith and trust in God, your own divine nature, and the good in all people and things.
