Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
If I'm going to have forgiveness, who am I going to have it from? Myself. But every time I forgive myself for something, I'm remembering what it was. And every time I remember what it was, I put some more of my energy into it. So it seems to get bigger and doesn't go away. So although I say, "Okay, I forgive myself," the next time I see the person that I got angry with, up comes the anger again. So we have to do something more than forgive it. We actually have to forget it. We have to live our lives in this moment to such completeness that when one moment disappears, there's no evidence that we were in that moment. If there's no evidence, there'll be no thought, no feeling, no imagination, and no physical reality, and the unconsciousness will be clear.
The Spiritual Warrior's greatest foe is the sense of lack and separation and the resulting desire to obtain control over what cannot be controlled. Unconditional love and acceptance cannot be controlled. Each person must come to terms with them so that they love and accept every part of themselves, positive and negative. It takes great courage to see the face of God, because you must see your own face first.
Mental karma is going over and over and over the same thing in your mind. To break it, you stop that repetitive thinking, just stop it. Getting up and moving can help. So can doing spiritual exercises.
Cultivating a spiritual life can be a challenge, because our bodies, minds, and emotions -- not to mention outside distractions -- are constantly vying for our attention. It can be difficult to have a quiet life, never mind an inner life. The idea that technology saves us time doesn't seem to be the reality. Nearly everyone I know has less time than ever before, and there are still only twenty-four hours in a day. Rather than saying we don't have enough time, it's more accurate to say we have too many options. As soon as we reduce our options, time opens up.
Ultimately, any disagreement you have is between you and God. Consider that the truth of God is always found in loving all. Love is a beautiful and complete experience without exception. Be loving toward your fellow human beings who without exception are here in this world to learn and grow.
If I just talk to you about Light, maybe nothing will happen, but regardless of what I say, you may get it, because I share the Light out of the Light. You can't share what you don't have in your own purse. You can only give of the coin you have. If you don't have love and compassion and understanding and Light, you can't share that. If you have animosity, upset, hatred, wrath or jealousy, then maybe others don't care to get that type of payment back from you. So you may want to empty that out as much as you can, and then start to fill the purse with gratefulness.
You are a universe unto yourself, and you are responsible for yourself. What are you doing with your universe, with your inner beingness? If God of the outer world treated you like you treat your own self inwardly, there might be more earthquakes and cataclysms than you could ever imagine. Because of the things you've created, you may find yourself flooded with so much toxic material that you actually feel sick within your body. That's because of the way you treat yourself -- either physically abusing the body, emotionally putting yourself down, mentally confusing yourself or spiritually starving yourself. Treat yourself better. God resides with you in the essence of His Spirit. And you have the responsibility as a co-creator with the God within to keep your own universe clean.
We have karma related to our levels of consciousness. Emotional karma is emotional reaction, where you react emotionally to a person's body or expression, the weather, your boss, the traffic on the freeway, the state of the world -- anything. To deal with emotional karma, you learn how not to react emotionally, and the first step is to observe.
Thoughts cannot conceive the greatness of the Soul. You can't find the majesty of the Soul in science books or math books. You may not even be able to consciously look and find a key that awakens something inside of you a little more than before. So all you can do is let go and say, "It's beyond my mental ability".
Keep going, stay encouraged, trusting in yourself and God that this situation is serving the learning and growth of your Soul. Keep faithing, doing anything that represents doing the best you can with what you know and whatever appears challenging to you. Be willing to sacrifice including some comforts and attachments, frustrations, judgments, and exhaustion. Be willing to be of good cheer to yourself and others as you have ample supply within you. What could you do today to serve, to give to someone or help your situation or that of your neighbor or friend who calls upon you. If nothing else, spend the day in the good company of your Soul.
