The nature, the essence, of the Soul is JOY. It is joyful because it is wholly of God, is aware of that, and has total knowledge of that.

In MSIA, there is a consciousness called "the Mystical Traveler," but it doesn't have to be called that. It was given a term so that it could be referred to in speaking and writing. Also, mystical means "having a spiritual meaning or reality that is neither apparent to the senses nor obvious to the intelligence," and traveler refers to one who goes on a trip or journey. The Traveler exists on all levels of consciousness and can go (travel) with people into areas of consciousness that are not apparent to the senses or obvious to the intelligence (mind). Before MSIA came into being, the Traveler was referred to in some places as a prophet, an avatar, a spiritual leader, and so on; there are many names. It comes from Spirit, from the spiritual levels referred to as the School of the Divine or the Holy of Holies.

When we stop using the intellect of the mind and come to the wisdom of the heart, we access the door to Divinity, because out of that heart comes the compassion and forgiveness.

You're the one in charge of your life, and your life is given to you so that you have choices here. If you don't make those choices in relation to what's presented to you, if you disregard what's presented to you, then at some point you're going to move into a default on what is available to you in your life experience. There are things here that are of a lesser nature. And if you were not attempting to do your best with the experiences available, then you would be tending to move into a lesser experience. So it's important for you to keep yourself up and open to your life experience, even when it comes across in a way that appears as contracting, limiting, fearful or something painful. Trust that you can handle whatever is truthful in your life.

I have taught children what I call the "nine magic words" that are available to them -- and to everyone. The first three are "I love you;" the second three are "God bless you," and the third three are "Peace, be still." These words are powerful.

Often, as you begin to reclaim your inner territory, you find your mind running in many directions, full of thoughts, memories, ideas -- good and bad, serious and trivial; and you wonder what to do in the face of all this commotion. The answer is, simply observe it. It is the same with what upsets you. When something annoying or upsetting presents itself to you, just stand back and say, "Here comes all that upset. How very interesting." Don't feel you have to put a lot of emotion into it, or fantasize about it.

Negative expressions that disturb creation are recycled by the law of cause and effect, action and reaction, until the consciousness is balanced through acceptance and understanding.

In Spirit, there is no time and no space. All exists right now, in eternity. All exists as One. There is no division, no separation. One Soul is all Souls. Jesus said, "He that hath seen me hath seen the Father." (John 14:9) He demonstrated tremendous understanding, seeing Himself through all others. When you realize that you are all things, you also include yourself. The realizations do not come with mentalizing or verbalization; they come from the intelligence of the Soul, from the knowledge inherent within you.

The Traveler is here to awaken the Soul, to give energy to each Soul so that each one will individually burst anew into the youthfulness of Spirit and be an active, dynamic tool for the upliftment of everyone it touches.
