Once you accept a situation, the next step is cooperation. Cooperation is the second law of Spirit and another marker on the journey. Unconditional cooperation with whatever is happening is one of the keys to creating happiness and well-being.

MSIA students are taught to work with the spiritual Light, which originates in the positive realms of pure Spirit. Its energy is positive, and its force can be used only in love and for the highest good of all. It cannot hurt, harm, or destroy. But it can stir up negativity that has remained dormant for a long time and bring it up into conscious awareness, therefore allowing it to be cleared.

If, indeed, you can be taught, the Soul will awaken itself on the physical level and dissolve all karmic bondage. Then you will be aware of Soul on this level and on all other levels. At that moment, you become what we call one of the "living free."

Choosing to act through your faith and trust can become your discipline. You will then be following in the ways of the Lord, and you will become a demonstration of the Lord living in you as you.

If I'm going to do something that will make me need to forgive myself, I don't do it. Because that's putting it against myself to start with. And if you're going to do something to me, where I'll have to forgive you, I'm not going to let you do that. That is, in a sense, an ultimate selfishness.

First you learn who you are. And when you learn who the real self is, the false images fall away rapidly. The person you thought you were, the religion you thought you were, the philosophy you thought you were may fall away. You may find out that all of these philosophies that you've been adhering to just don't work. But you may be afraid to throw them away because you don't know what will take their place. When you get rid of the things that don't work, you will find the true self.

Once you are connected to the Mystical Traveler Consciousness and agreement is made to work together, the work goes on twenty-four hours a day. The Traveler does not leave you, no matter what you do physically.

The chief intention of Spiritual Warriors is to become aware of their spiritual nature. I have stated my own intention this way: "I'm keeping my eyes on You, Lord, only You." You may want to put this intention into different words, but the basic idea will be the same for us all.

When someone first begins working within MSIA, they may often appear to have more problems than they did before because they may be working through their karma faster. Not only past karma but the karma they create day to day will often be returned to them very quickly -- within hours or days, instead of years or lifetimes. For example, if a person "blows up" at himself or another person and is "fuming" inside, he may go out to take a drive and find that fifteen minutes later the radiator blows up and steam fumes out of the car. Instant karma. Cause and effect. He handles it, it is over, it is clear, and he can continue right on.

It is interesting that many of the great Masters and teachers have come to serve mankind. They really are the servants. Their job is to serve.
