Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
Discovering the Soul is a continual process of leaving behind old, familiar patterns and venturing into the new. This can be difficult at times. When we are fearful or resistant, we contract, shutting the door to the true self. But if we can adjust our attitude and treat the journey to the Soul as an adventure, we will be rewarded with personal growth and more enjoyment. The key is a childlike outlook.
As the Soul goes through its life plan, it is apt to create imbalance. Then when the time comes for the physical body to die, there are often karmic situations that have not yet been cleared or balanced. Thus, the Soul, at a later time, embodies again onto the physical realm so that it can clear its debts, right the wrongs, and bring balance and harmony. But if the consciousness again gets caught up in the illusions and the glamour, it may end up creating more karmic situations so that the Soul must again embody to clear them. And so on. At some point, the consciousness will come into an understanding of this whole process; it will learn to be a responsible creator.
Go inside and see the face of God. I have shown people methods and techniques for going within, for experiencing Spirit for themselves. No one can do it for you. You choose whether or not to do it for yourself. People sometimes ask, "J-R, what can I do for you?" and I say, "Go see the face of God; come back and tell me if I've missed because if I have, I can correct it." That way, all of us are correcting each other into rightness, not into ego righteousness, but into rightness.
Here is a healing to behold. Take some time, five minutes is plenty, to visualize the tissues, the cells, the nerves and nerve centers, all illumined and fully revealed to your sight within. Invoke the anointing and blessing of Christ Jesus, the infinite mercy, the infinite power to renew, to restore, to be born anew. Behold this as best you can. There is no need to tarry when you place this squarely upon your faith in God. Know that it is His will being done to use you as a co-creator. And in this moment of surrender with God, see yourself acting entirely according to God's will, which is full of life, full of joy, full of peace and good tidings. Let your cup of blessings be full and running over and over to all without need of measure. Baruch Bashan
The thing you see in people that attracts you to them is love. It is Spirit. You are attracted to them because you want more of that.
As a Spiritual Warrior, you must realize that there is no substance to upsetting emotions and fantasies. Instead of indulging the past, and making yourself a slave to it, through observation you will confront the upset and guilt of the past and stop it here and now. Most people think that when these thoughts occur to them, they have to do something about them: They have to explain, justify, feel guilt. But there is nothing you have to do except observe.
The Soul exists on all levels - physical, astral, causal, mental, and etheric. While the Soul is the weakest aspect in the physical world, it is the only one that is on all the levels. So if you're going to live on any level, it makes sense that the best place to live is in Soul.
With intelligence you can bypass your prejudice. You'll know what it is, but you'll be able to hold it in line and consciously move where you wish. This process is more than using your brain. It is the Soul bringing forth its intelligence. When you get an intuitive "I see it" understanding, that's the Soul passing the spiritual energy right through the mind as intelligence. The more you can move into the Soul and bring it forward, the higher you go each day. As you feel yourself beginning to lift into Soul consciousness, if you bring your mind in, you'll bring yourself right back down here to the "tiddly-wink" games of the physical level. The trick is to just keep doing and moving forward into each new moment.
Let your devotion to your Soul and your love be your gift to the Traveler. There is nothing else that is necessary.
You might bring back the memory of a car wreck through a very vivid dream experience - the kind where you hear the brakes screaming, feel the car going out of control, hear the sound of metal scraping against metal, feel the impact as you crash, feel the body being thrown through the air, and wake up in a cold sweat, shaking all over from the experience. That has been your lesson, and it has been real enough to bring home the point that you must drive more carefully. You have fulfilled the karma, but through the grace extended to you, you do not have to experience it physically and handle all the physical consequences of a major car accident.
