Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
You are the first cause, and you are the first effect. You are the last cause and the last effect. So, inside of you is the only place that change can be made. You can indulge the illusion of changing things in the world, but unless you change them in yourself, no true change has taken place.
I have greater trust of what is true inside of me than what seems to be true outside of me. So I see faith as something that gets exercised in our trust and what we entrust ourselves to.
When people come at me with their negative evil thoughts and try to tell me those are the Lord, they are attempting to give me a false idol. They would have me think their thoughts. They want me to put their God in front of mine. But their God is one of disturbance. They may smile as they tell you their "truth," hoping you'll buy it; but you walk away feeling betrayed, disturbed, and often wishing you'd never met the person. And in that moment, there is a tendency for you to curse the one who brought you the evil. If you do, you fall, because the curse goes to them and then back to you. You cannot allow the luxury of a negative thought.
Part of your job is to create the most perfect environment for yourself and for others when they come into your presence.
If you, in your everyday life, can allow the Father to do the work of Spirit through you, you will find your life becomes very simple and very joyful.
You observe the action of life in much the same way as you observe a stream of water flowing down a mountainside. You just sit there and watch it. You don't try to grab the last bit of water that went by. It's the same as watching the ocean. You don't try to grab the last wave and cement it so that you'll always have it. You just watch the waves come in and go out, come in and go out. There is no boredom in watching the ocean because your ego is not involved in what the waves do or don't do. You are observing.
What it comes down to, always and forever, is the commitment to yourself. And that starts when, ten billion times a day, ten billion percent, you commit to the upliftment and the unfoldment that is your spiritual nature.
By enduring here and maintaining yourself through whatever experience you're in, the Soul is gaining tremendously, even in one breath. Part of the challenge is often we don't realize that. What we teach in the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness is how to realize and become more aware of our Soul in each moment. When you do, you're going to find yourself moving into a calm state. And yet in that calm state, you'll still be alert because as you relax and come into ease with what's present in your life, you become more available to move and flow with whatever you're doing so you can get the most out of it.
Whenever you become aware of a worry, a disturbance, or an imbalance, instead of contracting you can just observe it and say to yourself, "Oh, good, things are moving. Now, how can love lead me?" That thought will bring you back to yourself and reconnect you to your loving.
The more you relax with your breathing, the more you're conscious of the one breath in all things. More and more you experience your breath reaching to God until you breathe with God. And God breathes you with the love of the Divine.
