The Spirit comes in on your breath. It is that close -- or closer. Even if you would try to deny the Spirit by holding your breath, the Beloved is that which will be there when your consciousness passes out from lack of oxygen. It will function behind the consciousness and keep the breath going anyway. It will allow you to pass out, restore the breathing, and awaken you.

John-Roger, DSS
One game that people may not see clearly is the game of serving others. If you are in a situation where you can be of service, but you start feeling as though you are in a "prison" of some kind, you may be moving your consciousness into the negative aspect of selfishness. Then you move into negative perception and perceive all things in a down consciousness. So, what was your opportunity to serve has become your burden to carry.

John-Roger, DSS
As long as you create separation, you will be in separation, regardless of how close you are physically to your spiritual teacher or to your loved one. You can be in the same room and be separate if that is your consciousness. Or you can be a million miles apart and be entirely present, in oneness, if that is your consciousness. You create your own reality.

John-Roger, DSS
Your body is a temple, on this level, for the consciousness that is the most high.

John-Roger, DSS
We can love our brothers and sisters right now. We can love our neighbors as we love ourselves. We can love our enemies. I encourage you to take that to heart, without exception. We all can be more in and of the spirit of who we are. We can be more about loving and caring for one another in the way the Lord loves us. As we choose to love regardless, we can then say in truth, in joy, and with conviction, "Yes. I am my brother's keeper."

John Morton, DSS
The Bible says, "As a man thinketh, in his heart he becomes." That really expresses a lot of truth when perceived from the mystical consciousness. And it works both ways -- positive and negative. You may say, "The thing that I feared most has come upon me." But the thing that you fear most, you think about. You give energy into it. You dwell on it and think, "What would happen if ..." and you create that which you fear, and it appears. You create it. You bring it forward. Then you say, "Why me, Lord?" And if you can get Him to communicate, the Lord may answer, "Why not? You created it; you're responsible for it." You might just as well take a deep breath, mark it up as an experience and a lesson, and go on. In reality, there's not much else you can do.

John-Roger, DSS
As your expression becomes more closely matched with the inner integrity of your being, you find yourself moving into the Christ of your inner consciousness. It's a place which has no description, although it may be the greatest level of reality you have ever known. Moving into that reality, it is like paying your Self a visit. It's like coming home inside of yourself. The joy, bliss and ecstasy which can come forward from that small visit with your Self can carry you through some very rough spots in your life.

The human consciousness is most complex; there are infinite layers and levels within you. The discovery of yourself can be the most exciting and rewarding adventure you could ever hope to make.

John-Roger, DSS
There is a song with lyrics that say, "I'm going to love more each day. I'm going to give more than I take. I'm going to live more for the sake of living love." When you do live love, everything becomes fantastic. You manifest here and now and receive God's grace. You bestow grace upon yourself from a higher consciousness. Then you are the Beloved.

John-Roger, DSS
Even if we think we've chosen wisely and we haven't, we won't be caught in that because we're always moving on anyway. Then what has happened is only an experience that we use to assist other people with. And if you're going to help people with your experience, it would be foolish to have judged it. That would be like judging a dictionary when you're looking in it to learn how to spell a word. That's the same way with our experiences: they become a dictionary or an encyclopedia of life.
