Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
It is very difficult to do "spiritual" work when you are worried about car and house payments, insurance premiums, and gas, light, and phone bills. It's even more difficult to enjoy material wealth in health and happiness if your consciousness is not awakened to your divine source. It's a matter of having your feet firmly planted on the earth and your head in the heavens. Prosperity, which means health, wealth, and happiness to me, must come from inside and then manifest outside in the world. You can live your own prosperity.
Who you are is a beautiful Soul that is always present. So, love yourself unconditionally and know that you are a loving, worthwhile, valuable being, whatever the physical body's expression is at this time.
When you are in service, you know it; what you are doing, you are just doing. It's not necessary to tell your neighbors, "Oh, I'm of selfless service." If you say that, suddenly it's no longer selfless, it's egotistical. Sometimes it's difficult to find ways to be of service, because people are already in there doing the work, and they're not talking to you about it because they're too busy doing. Being of service is not a state of wishful thinking, like, "Oh, I wish I could be of service" If you do that, you are looking for ego gratification. Being of service is moving and doing.
The Traveler is freedom, expresses freedom, and gives freedom. Because it is free, it defies definition, but we can say that its nature is love, joy, and upliftment. It brings health, wealth, and happiness on the physical level, calm to the emotional level, peace to the mental level, ability to the unconscious level, and the fulfillment of all the dreams to the spiritual level.
If those you encounter share their strengths and their abundance with you, if they rejoice in your growth and awareness, if they encourage you to reach ever higher in your Spirit, then you know you are in good company. Your job is to keep your eyes on God, no matter what. Leave all other matters to the Spirit.
Practice looking for and connecting with clarity and focus upon all the greater good that God has created for us this day.
Has your attitude slipped? Correct it by positive doing.
One way to help release an imbalanced situation is to use the creative imagination to change your perception of the situation. If it ended with bitter words and hurt feelings, imaginatively change it and see it ending with words of mutual love and respect. See yourself feeling happy and loving toward the other person. I'm not saying this is easy. Part of the hurt stays with you because the lower self has locked on to the hurt and continually recreates that imagery. If you can effectively change the imagery, the lower self will accept the new image and feel comfortable with it. It will release the hurt, and you will probably forget all about the incident. It may take some practice before this process becomes effective in changing the imagery of certain situations, but keep at it because it can be an excellent tool for releasing blocks from the lower consciousness.
When you look to the spiritual heart for your fulfillment, when you become pure of heart, when you let the spiritual heart speak, when you love -- then the body, mind, and emotions follow and you express total loving.
I knew a young man once whose parents fought a good deal. It disturbed him tremendously when they fought. So I told him of a technique to use the next time they fought. It was to mentally say to them over and over in his mind, "I love you. God bless you. I love you. God bless you." He tried it the next time they got into a fight. He stayed in the next room and just kept projecting those thoughts to them. It was only a matter of minutes before they were laughing and kidding around as they finished up the dinner dishes together. The change was really a dramatic one.
