Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
The key to grace is forgiveness -- continual forgiveness -- and it continues until your last breath.
When you breathe in, Spirit comes into you. That's why it is often valuable to begin spiritual exercises by focusing on your breathing. Bring the breathing under conscious control for a little while. Breathe deeply. Envision the Light of Spirit and of God coming into your body with each breath. Take the time to consciously move your breath -- and, with it, the Spirit -- through your body. This can bring great relaxation, renewal, and healing.
While it is wise to follow the best example you can find, it is also wise to check things out for yourself. At each step up the ladder, test to make sure that you are still firmly supported. Watch the step in front of you; make sure it's solid. When it comes toward you, take it, and keep your eyes on it until it is below you. Then watch the next step as it comes. That way, you won't be unsure of the step you're on; you will already have prepared yourself by watchfulness, thoroughness, and constant checking. You won't stumble and fall over your work, and the people below will be able to follow you safely.
You can work out your karma here on the physical realm by confronting your karmic situations. Ultimately, you must confront everything; you cannot turn away. When you have confronted the problem or experience and have exercised your wisdom of choice, you can move from it. But you must come to grips with it. This may or may not mean confronting others, but it always involves looking honestly and lovingly at the situation and all those involved in it. You may need to do something physically to resolve the situation, or you may resolve it simply by acknowledging it and loving it all.
Q: I am hesitant about working with the Traveler because I don't want to submit myself to anyone else. A: I think you are wise to be wary of submitting yourself to any person. I'm not interested in having anyone submit himself or herself to me. When a person participates in MSIA and works with the Mystical Traveler, that person is, if anything, "submitting" to himself/herself, to the Christ within, to the God within. And that is really a joyous surrender to love.
The spiritual blessings can come to you only as much as you will allow them, and if you do allow them in, through actions, honesty, clarity, and loving service, the blessings will be there -- in abundance!
In the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness our purpose is Soul transcendence which includes the realization that we are not our bodies. Our true nature is the Soul which is in the world but not of the world. Our destiny is to complete with the world so our consciousness is entirely in the Spirit.
Live here inside, and go out there when you want to. It's difficult to live from the inside, but it's also the easiest way to live. Now, isn't that a contradiction in terms? We've been taught out there how to go out and make good grades and have this and get that and do this other thing. And very few people have ever told us how to sit and meditate in prayer and how to have communion with God and how to source Divinity to inspire us and lift us and bring us joy. But that's the only place we can get it.
The thing that makes us fall has to be looked at rather carefully because anything that takes us from God would be a temptation. Temptations, then, are going to be of the flesh or how we feel inside of the flesh or how we think inside of the flesh. So we can be tempted mentally, emotionally, or physically. A lot of those are inherent within the Earth plan. Eating too much food is an example on the physical level; the food is here. An emotional push might be to have a companion. There can be the mental thinking of philosophical ideals that may take us away from God. Those are inbuilt temptations on the planet. When we look at life historically, those things have always been here and are the temptations that are set up by the negative power. Those temptations always test us internally. They will vary a great deal, but they'll primarily have a similar idea behind them, which is to take you away from feeling the fullness of the Spirit inside of you here. Said another way, the negative power tries to get you to substitute something else that will give you the pleasure that the Soul will give you.
Spirituality is a very simple way of life. It is not complex at all. The simplicity of the consciousness of spiritually aware people makes it very easy for them to go into the primordial consciousness of Spirit and allow it to be. The complexity is the expectation people place on it and the levels of illusion people project into it. Because the spiritual form is so simple and pure, it's malleable; it can be molded into anything. It allows itself to be molded into various levels of consciousness.
