If you hear inner answers, it's okay if you check them out, but just don't trust them without checking. If they give direction, lean into that direction, see how it feels and how it works for you. If something works for you, it doesn't matter where you get the information. And if it doesn't work for you, it also doesn't matter where you got the information. How do you receive enlightenment? How does it happen? Many ways. Do you get it through yourself? Yes. Do you get it by yourself? Always. What if you don't know where to get it? Those who are enlightened can point the way. Their great value is that they can be wayshowers -- not teachers, wayshowers.

Who we are is brighter than all the lower levels, brighter even than the Lords of these levels. We are magnificent, but the physical body stops us from truly seeing our magnificence because we're trained to look out here, externally, at and through the body of flesh. It is only through attunement, when we turn inward, that we can truly see what is truly there.

Whenever we partake of something that's changing, we can never have permanence, because we're eating of impermanence or participating in or thinking about impermanent things. When we take that inside of us, it produces an impermanent state. So the deception of the negative power is to make you go for temporary fulfillment, which would then make you go after impermanent things. God's plan is to go for the long-range things, which is then permanence. In one way, it's God saying, "Come to me." Because God created all things below him, it would be foolish to stop short of God.

To me, the real assignment in being our brother's keeper is to love ourselves as our own brother or sister. I remind people often to help themselves first before they help their brothers and sisters. Take care of yourself in ways that contribute to you becoming a more happy, healthy, caring, human being. When we take care of ourselves, that enables us to be better keepers of our brothers and sisters.

Looking at the same things that tempt us in the negative can also be looked at in the positive. Anything that can make us fall can strengthen us to succeed. The difficulty is discerning if it's going to lift us or if we're fooling ourselves, and that is challenging because there's an inbuilt illusion on the planet.

One day, you may realize that you have become the alchemist of your own being and that the gold of your being is present. That is not gold like we think of gold metal here. It is much rarer. You can eat of it and drink of it, and it will sustain you through anything. It is the gold of that spiritual form that you are.

No matter what goes on in the physical world, the Traveler's work still goes on.

Q: What is the difference between the Traveler and the Light? A: The Traveler is a wayshower that works with people to take them into the Soul realm. The Light is the positive energy coming from Spirit. (There is also the magnetic light, which works out of the lower realms of Spirit, but I don't think that's what you were asking about.) The Traveler channels the Light and the Sound Current and then rides on the Sound–and teaches you to do the same. And remember that the Traveler is inside of you.
