Being of service is the best way to deal with the self-obsession that is so prevalent in this world. Being of service just for the joy of doing it will raise your vibration level, and you will rise above the voices of self-doubt, second-guessing, and negativity. The lower vibration voices cannot survive. They will not live in that atmosphere of joy and serving because they think of, "Me first, me only. And forget you." So it's quite easy to transcend these lower levels when we move into service.

Look for the good, find the good, celebrate the good, and all the rest leave to God in complete trust that all is in process of being resolved so every need is fulfilled.

Your strength resides in the spiritual consciousness. It can never reside outside yourself in a form. Because it is physical, a form is always corruptible. That's why you rarely have your or anyone else's spiritual form revealed to you. You or someone else might attempt to destroy it. It's much like the old saying that those who live by the sword, die by the sword. Those who live by the form, die by the form. As that form destroys, it will be destroyed, not necessarily by sword or spear, but by some form which fulfills that destruction.

You can say a prayer right now: "Father, I receive. I accept all things. My joy in your Presence lifts me higher. Father I worship you. I move forward in my Light consciousness. I accept my divinity and know that where God is, nothing else can be other than in a perfect state."

When we deal in the karmic field on the planet here, there are three ways we do it: we create it or we promote it or we allow it. Sometimes the allowing is not doing things and saying, "Well, I didn't know," or "How was I to know?" Yet deep down inside of us, we get the strange feeling like we could have known. This is not necessarily we should have (that comes under another way of doing it), but it's "I could have done that, had I listened inside, had I really paid attention."

Q: How do I "hold the Light" for someone or a situation? A: Ask for the Light for the highest good in the situation. Then, as much as possible, be in the situation neutrally. This means to be nonjudgmental and to simply accept whatever is there, even though you may not agree with it or like it. And be loving no matter what is going on.

Love and support each other as lovers, and appreciate your roles as mother and father. Loving and supporting your child is easy after that and only adds to your life as you all nurture one another.

If you only wish to serve God, the gifts you can be given are many.

Be careful that you don't distort what comes from your true self with what comes from others and conditions in the world. Make sure that your perceptions and beliefs are coming from your heart. The world serves to reflect to you what is true and what is illusion.

John Morton, DSS
As you gain the discipline to express yourself consistently in honest, forthright ways, you are training yourself to hold the vision of Spirit steady within you. As you do your spiritual exercises or meditation, you bring yourself into alignment with the Spirit. As you conduct yourself in ways that are responsible to yourself and not inflictive to others, you bring yourself into line with spiritual guidance. Then you can receive the gifts of Spirit.
