Impatience is hurry, hurry, hurry. "Hurry up! Get it to me, right now." Some things take time. Thinking takes time. However, to speak foolishly doesn't take any time at all. When people say to me, "Hurry," I say, "Do you want it to be good, or do you just want it?" If they want it to be good, then I tell them, "You must forgive me if I take a longer time to make it better for you." They inevitably say, "Take your time."

Sometimes you may withhold your loving appreciation. It is valuable for the other person to know that you care for him or her -- not necessarily on a romantic level, but as a beautiful human being.

One of the most profound prayers you can whisper within the depth of your being is, "Father, Thy will be done." Then let go and let God work with you. When you utter that prayer in total sincerity and integrity, you bring yourself into alignment with Spirit and the plan God has for you in this life and for all eternity.

Sometimes the best way to make the most out of a situation is to get out of it. The other way is to accept it and be grateful that it isn't worse. I find that it's much easier to just love it all. When it shows up, I go, "Wow. Another form of loving. Another face of loving. Another expression of loving. Another location of loving." And then I get to participate in it. That's grateful.

Look at what is present as the knowledge and wisdom of your heart. In wisdom there is always calm and freedom that leaves all of your choices completely up to you to decide.

The mere process of entering into comparisons says that you lost. Comparisons have nothing to do with spiritual progress. Get this clear: Nobody out there can love you the way you want to be loved. Only you can do that.

God is pouring forth the Spirit into these days that we are living in now. And even though we may see starvation, floods, wars, and countries going bankrupt, we will know the law of empathy, for empathy is a spiritual law. If we don't know starvation, and we have no empathy, it will be brought to us to experience it. God bless those who can move to the law of empathy, for you sidestep the lessons that would be presented to you otherwise.

If you keep the area around you clean and I keep the area around me clean and everybody else keeps the areas around them clean, then everything will be clean. And participation happens to be a key to effecting these new patterns. In traditional educational approaches, far too often, people sit there and say to their teachers, "Give it to me." And then they wonder why nothing happens. The new approach is to reach out and just get it. That way you have it whether or not the teacher is able to give it to you.

Learning to let the spiritual Light flow can be one of your most rewarding experiences. That Light within you will guide you as you learn to attune yourself to its direction. If you get in your car and ask for the Light to surround and protect you and then you speed, the Light is probably not going to do a whole lot for you. It may be that the "white light" you called in to help you asks the "red light" for a special assist. But if you get in the car and attune yourself to the Light within you, you are probably going to drive the speed limit, be careful, and watch. Then it is very easy for the Light to work with you.
