You can't cure jealousy by logical reasoning because it's not a logical, reasoning process. You and your partner have to demonstrate trust and unconditional loving by behavior. If you're unwilling to do that, you can be run by jealousy. If you two are physically separated, you don't have to imagine that your partner is involved with someone else. Instead, how about imagining that he or she is involved in some beautiful, loving, supportive action. Physical separation does not have to mean separation in loving.

Being for yourself is not being against anyone else. We are all one. So being for yourself is ultimately only being for everyone else in your life. When you awaken to that truth and begin to live it, life will start opening for you, and joy will flood into you.

Spirituality is not necessarily holding your hands in a certain way, kneeling in prayer or sitting in a yoga posture. Those are just positions. Spirituality is knowing God and living to that high degree within yourself that we call integrity.

Our work, if we accept it, is to bring our consciousness into the higher understanding, into experiencing and knowing the Christ within.

People say, "Oh God, help me!" They ask me, "Can you put something inside of me that will make me grow and develop faster?" And the answer is, "Be patient, because that is part of your spiritual discipline." Be patient. Be now. Be here. Don't forget that it's all here already.

As you move from point to point on this path of upliftment, the law of reversibility may seem to bring you back to where you were months or even years ago. This can be discouraging. When you feel this reversibility, see if you can just relax. Sit down and say, "All right, go ahead and do what you're doing." Many times it then comes to a screeching halt, and you say, "Hey, I didn't blow it. It didn't go as far as I thought it would. Things changed. Why?" Because you changed. Inwardly, you were creating all things new.

As Proverbs 16:23 points out, "A wise man's heart guides his mouth…" Even criticism can be given in a positive way. I've seen a friend of mine, an actress famous for her physical allure, walk up to a strange man and say in his ear, "You're far too sexy to smoke," smile, and continue on her way. If I smoked, I would find this a much greater incentive to quit than someone lecturing me on how bad smoking is.

Be careful that you stay clear of judgments like you should know what to do or be responsible for how others make their choices. Always strive to do your best when you are involved in helping others including confirming that they want or need your help. Be mindful of when you are not prepared and acknowledge what you do not know personally. This may present an opportunity to experience what you already know by faith and trust in the wisdom of your heart. Then you can respond as the Lord moves you and directs you to respond. And when they want to praise you for what you have done to help them you can praise the Lord.
