Here are three ways to search through the history of over 5,000 Loving Each Day quotes by John-Roger and John Morton.
Be careful that you stay clear of judgments like you should know what to do or be responsible for how others make their choices. Always strive to do your best when you are involved in helping others including confirming that they want or need your help. Be mindful of when you are not prepared and acknowledge what you do not know personally. This may present an opportunity to experience what you already know by faith and trust in the wisdom of your heart. Then you can respond as the Lord moves you and directs you to respond. And when they want to praise you for what you have done to help them you can praise the Lord.
You want to hug somebody, but you're afraid they will take it the wrong way. The part of you that is in a loving place says to hug them and another part says that maybe they don't want to be hugged. The solution for this self-made conundrum is to ask them. If they say, "Not now," there is no reason for you to feel rejected as they may want to wait until another time when they feel more comfortable. Maybe they're having personal problems, and they don't want to be touched just now, or perhaps they have rheumatism, or arthritis, or a headache. Often a hug can cure all of that, but they may not know it.
We talk of Spirit and the spiritual laws of acceptance, cooperation, understanding, and enthusiasm. You must first accept yourself before you can accept others, and you must first cooperate with yourself before you can cooperate with others. Acceptance does not imply belief. Acceptance implies acknowledgment of what's going on. It does not state "true" or "false"; it only acknowledges. If you accept the presence of someone in your life, you can start cooperating with that person, and that cooperation produces the experience that will give you the understanding. Then you can become enthusiastic within the understanding, and the enthusiasm gives you the impetus to transcend the negative levels and reach into Soul.
Living on planet Earth can be an art based upon a scientific premise. The art is to approach life as a spontaneous experience. Part of the scientific premise is that you validate your experience.
If you would know the fullness of Spirit, make your life one gigantic spiritual exercise. Commit yourself to yourself, every moment. It's the most valuable thing you can do. Dedicate yourself to yourself, and make your dedication first priority, whether you're in a relationship, a marriage, a demanding career, or any other situation. Your first priority is to your own spiritual awakening.
The keynote of everything we do is to be of one accord. Prior to the one accord, there is discussion. Once the thing discussed is agreed upon and we've made a loving commitment to it, we move. Then, when you talk and do things, you find that people will start to assist you. You feel grateful for that, but you won't really feel the gratitude until someone else asks for help and you do help them. Then you feel the gratitude of the giving and the joy that comes with freely giving.
It is through loving made manifest that you are able to recognize a Master. Love is the greatest step of mastership. When loving is expressed, all other aspects of mastership fall into place and blend into the loving. It is the greatest of the keys.
Listening is the attitude of the one who sits at the feet of the master waiting, patiently waiting, while also presenting the attitude and posture of I am open, I am willing, I am here past all challenges. Listening is breathing in and holding in the silence. The inner ear is located in the silence. Be silent as you also give your fullest attention while breathing out. In this communion you can seek to fully attend to the inner master and bring the master's full attendance to you.
Biblical statements say, "As a man thinketh, in his heart so he becomes." Because you are a creator, where you focus your attention is where you'll go in consciousness.
The divine path can be called many things. But it is what it is, whether we like it or not. It will be what it will be, and we cannot change it. We do not even have the wit to change ourselves, so how could we have the wit to change the divine path? We don't even have the wit to walk upon it. We walk across it into the brambles and briers on each side. The disturbance you feel comes from being off your spiritual path. You can be off it physically and have great physical disturbance. You can be off it emotionally and have depressions or distress. You can be off it mentally and lose your mental balance. But I'll tell you something interesting. You can't be off it spiritually. If you can be off it spiritually, it isn't a spiritual path that you're on, it's psychism. When people's delusions are placed in front of you, use them as stepping stones, not stumbling blocks, because they're just casting shadows in front of you. Keep your eye on them, look at them, and then go through them to the Light beyond the shadow.
