If you go through a difficult situation, the Traveler goes through it with you. Sometimes he sits in a chair, experiencing the same pain that you're experiencing in your back, leg, stomach, or wherever, even though you may be a hundred miles or three thousand miles from him physically. The Traveler goes through it with you, and it works with you to get you free of that. These things don't happen once in a while; they happen twenty-four hours a day.

I was learning to let go of the ego, to seek inner riches rather than the riches of the world. I was seeking inner strength rather than ego strength in the world. I knew that the inner strength and wisdom would, through a natural process of evolvement and awakening, move out into the world in its own timing. Intuitively, I knew that as I gave my strength back into myself, to my Soul, I came closer to God and to the peacefulness that is of God. I knew this was the path home to God.

Terror is fear of the unknown. Fear is when we think something is going to happen a certain way. Terror is of the unknown. But look at the funny thinking here: if it's unknown, why have terror, why not have ignorance? Why not have doubt, why not have anything but terror? Terror is also usually involved with the idea of "What if they leave me?" "What if they're taken away from me?" "Oh my god, what would I do?" Terror is a self-induced attachment to materiality with emotions running on top of it and a hallucination of what it might be. I have never found anything that could make me feel terror, except my own imagination.

One religious concept that has been prevalent throughout history is that the priest, minister, or guru is somehow special and has a greater attunement to the spiritual Light. Thus, many people look to a "special one" as the savior or the intermediary with God. In the last few decades, a whole new consciousness has been moving across the planet, saying that each person is special and that as each develops their inner spiritual awareness, each has the ability to become attuned to the spiritual Light through their own consciousness. So each person starts their own salvation. Each person becomes the teacher, the student, the worker, and the harvester of their own beingness.

The best course of action is to bring yourself into an inner calm so that you become master of yourself.

Your service should always come from loving, caring, and sharing -- and also reaching out and touching. Touching opens the spirit of the other person.

In our Lord we have one who never tires nor sleeps nor forsakes and is with us for keeps. So the least we can do is keep the faith.

It is important to take responsibility for your actions. It becomes more and more difficult to lay your troubles at somebody else's doorstep and say, "My misery is your fault." No, your misery is only your choice. Your joy is also your choice.

In the story of the prodigal son in the Christian Bible, we are told of one moment when he realized he didn't have to live separately from his father and family but could go home. I'd guess that the process of coming to his senses was more gradual than the story tells. And perhaps the most important part of the story is the father's compassion for his son because it exemplifies the spirit of God manifested through this man. It exemplifies the Soul's oneness with God -- individualized as the son and yet of the same essence as the Father.
