Sometimes the best way to make the most out of a situation is to get out of it. The other way is to accept it and be grateful that it isn't worse. I find that it's much easier to just love it all. When it shows up, I go, "Wow. Another form of loving. Another face of loving. Another expression of loving. Another location of loving." And then I get to participate in it. That's grateful.

Look at what is present as the knowledge and wisdom of your heart. In wisdom there is always calm and freedom that leaves all of your choices completely up to you to decide.

The mere process of entering into comparisons says that you lost. Comparisons have nothing to do with spiritual progress. Get this clear: Nobody out there can love you the way you want to be loved. Only you can do that.

God is pouring forth the Spirit into these days that we are living in now. And even though we may see starvation, floods, wars, and countries going bankrupt, we will know the law of empathy, for empathy is a spiritual law. If we don't know starvation, and we have no empathy, it will be brought to us to experience it. God bless those who can move to the law of empathy, for you sidestep the lessons that would be presented to you otherwise.

If you keep the area around you clean and I keep the area around me clean and everybody else keeps the areas around them clean, then everything will be clean. And participation happens to be a key to effecting these new patterns. In traditional educational approaches, far too often, people sit there and say to their teachers, "Give it to me." And then they wonder why nothing happens. The new approach is to reach out and just get it. That way you have it whether or not the teacher is able to give it to you.

Learning to let the spiritual Light flow can be one of your most rewarding experiences. That Light within you will guide you as you learn to attune yourself to its direction. If you get in your car and ask for the Light to surround and protect you and then you speed, the Light is probably not going to do a whole lot for you. It may be that the "white light" you called in to help you asks the "red light" for a special assist. But if you get in the car and attune yourself to the Light within you, you are probably going to drive the speed limit, be careful, and watch. Then it is very easy for the Light to work with you.

The Traveler knows how to do what it does perfectly because it's been given that authority by God. So it's really the authority of God, the ability of God, the knowledge of God that functions through the Traveler. That's a big thing, and it is in everyone. It functions as a spiritual consciousness, and it works because you give it attention. So the difference between you and another person can be the attention that you give to the Spirit. Still, even the most "despicable" person has a relationship to the Traveler because at some level they know they're loved. The Traveler is in there waiting patiently as they go through their process of learning and discovering who they are at the extreme, including whatever is the negative condition.

It takes great maturity to be able to say, "What I said was untrue. I wasn't really busy. I just forgot. Please forgive me." And then you're through with it. You have been honest and have cleared up the lie between you and the other person. Part of clearing can also include sharing anything that you have held hidden or secret from another person that they need to know. How can you determine if they need to know it? If it keeps coming into your mind, disturbing you emotionally and distracting you mentally, then it might be better if you shared it and cleared the air. These "withholds" can be done face to face, sometimes in writing, and sometimes, if the person is not available on those levels, in your heart.

One thing that will tend to block spiritual upliftment is boredom. If you start getting bored, you find you are no longer in a Master's consciousness. You have ceased to be responsible for your own actions and your own mental and physical health and vitality and have said, "Do it for me; make me feel good or I'll get bored." You might learn something from being bored. And, if you do, it'll be a positive action for your growth.

This is plain old ignorance: "How was I supposed to know? Nobody told me." Did you think to ask? If you have a mouth, you could have. When we don't hear something, we can have ignorance. But that ignorance can be corrected by listening. So ignorance is more than just not knowing; it's where we are not willing to know.
