There have been several incidents in my life when I walked very close to physical death. There were illnesses, accidents, and all sorts of strange situations. The catastrophes always seemed to disperse before anything happened that was too damaging. But through it all, I kept breathing in and breathing out. I knew what I was doing and that my prime directive through these times was to keep breathing.

When we can find the work that can be our service, we feel that God is in Heaven. We look forward to it. There aren't many jobs like that, but we can have that experience inside when we approach our life as one of service. We cannot control the world, but we can control how we act within ourselves, in the world. That's where we have authority, and we can develop the talent to do just that.

It is so much easier to walk in the Light. That's who you are in the fullness and the glory of all your consciousness.

Your connection to Spirit through your initiation is more valuable than anything else in existence. The initiatory tone is the direct link between your consciousness and the Sound Current of God, and it is one of the greatest keys to your spiritual freedom that exists. You are placing yourself in the mainstream of Sound that is flowing back into the Supreme Godhead. It is the ultimate prayer and will bring with it the ultimate fulfillment.

Practice, practice, practice your devotion and dedication to God through spiritual exercises, worship, prayer, service, and demonstration of the teachings which work in direct alignment with spiritual laws. Practically, the spiritual laws fulfill how things work in the world with need for freedom toward the psychic-material nature of the world. We are learning to be in the world without the attachment that is the magnetism in the law of attraction. The conditionality of attraction manifests as the desire for things and people including ourselves to be different such that we are not happy and peaceful in our experience and expression. Strive to be in alignment with the spiritual laws of acceptance, cooperation and understanding by learning to stay in relaxation and patience, the hallmarks of letting go and letting God. In other words, be a beloved friend regardless of what or who comes to your presence.

If someone is judging you or berating you, and they are being impatient, maybe they don't have the necessary information. So you can ask them, "Show me how I can do it faster, the way you want it." Many bosses have turned around and walked away because they don't know how to do it faster either. They had the disease of impatience, and if they are smart, they can end up with the healing of forgiveness. In the state of forgiveness, they often find that they get what they want, and the quality of thankfulness soon follows.

Those things that you did yesterday are of yesterday. Today is a new day, and as you allow it, Spirit creates all things new for you each day.

Too often people want to yoke themselves to someone outside of themselves in the physical world and say, "Do it for me." This will probably not work and will usually delay your spiritual unfoldment. This does not mean you do it all by yourself. No way. We are all connected, we are all dependent upon one another to some extent, and no one is going to do everything by himself or herself. You may want a wayshower, a guide, someone to point the direction, but do not let anyone do it for you. I do not do it for you. I show you techniques, methods, and ways. I tell you what has worked for me and what I know has worked for other people. But it could all appear to be a lie until you do it and it works for you. This is why I always advise people to "check it out" and get their own experience.

It's been said many times, we only have to get up one more time than we fall. However, you'll always find somebody anxious to say, "you fell." You say, "Get thee behind me, Satan, for you will remind me of my fall instead of my next step up."

When you are handling everything that comes your way, there is no past or future, and the present is the eternal now.
